Scott Calvin is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can't be Santa forever. He's starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he's got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially two sons, one that grew up in Lakeside, Illinois (Charlie) and one that grew up at the Pole (Buddy). With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.

#EverydayChristmas is just wrong, because if every day is christmas, christmas ain't so special anymore and therefore it loses its magic, duh also making people pay for presents is wrong too, not very santa alike, but just being another online store lets say :joker:

could have its release by November 2023, nothing official yet, could also get postponed until 2024 due to actors strike however this seems unlikely as its already made and this is perfect to offer around the festive season


In the second season, the Calvin family is back in the North Pole as Scott Calvin continues his role as Santa Claus after retirement plans were thwarted when failing to find a worthy successor in season one. Now that Scott and his family have successfully saved Christmas, Scott turns his focus towards training his son Calvin to eventually take over the “family business” as Santa Claus.

According to Deadline, Disney has not canceled the series, but it has also not yet greenlit a third season. Additionally, if a season 3 does happen it is very unlikely it would be ready for a 2024 debut, instead, it would come in 2025.



Now why is a 2024 release unlikely? Well, star Tim Allen is headlining a new ABC series titled Shifting Gears, which follows Matt (Allen), a stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When Matt’s estranged daughter and her teenage kids move into his house, the real restoration begins.
