I have just noticed that the one down the bottom of my road is a GR

They dont get replaced. Just new ones will now be CRIII

That is a Victorian one yes
i thought my local one would be ancient as it's a protected ancient town, but we have a brand new post box, it even has a woolly hat :laugh:

I saw one of those post box toppers in Dulwich a few weeks ago it was a thing during the Jubliee knitters outdoing each other with their creations
LT never instructed the knitting club :fist:
