I don't really know/care about any of them this week. Well I've seen of the long-form interviews Konstantin does with another bloke, they're okay.

It wasn't too bad this week.
I was glad most who spoke on it welcomed Starmer shelving the £28 billion commitment.
Before the election and not putting it in a manifesto.
Then not being able to deliver .

The Cons must be fuming he has because it's all they've been on about for months.
Plus would have done right up to polling day.
Whenever scared Sunak ever decided when polling day is.

A programme tonight that will be only likely full of the recession and the Rochdale plus issue with Labour.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't but how boringly predictable.

Not even sure I'll watch it actually.
I do wish there could be really good political programming.
Which dealt neutrally with issues from all political Parties.

I do really only watch this out of habit I'm sure now.
It's been worse since Fiona Bruce took the chair.

The flow goes all over the place.
It gets shambolic at times.

I think most of our political programming is more irritating than in any way informative or even entertaining.

i haven't watched it in a very long time, but i have a feeling it reflects the way politics has been going over the years. There are no real strategies anymore, just bullet points that can change on a whim. I don't know how anyone can keep a straight face and commentate with any conviction

Actually I take back what I said
This was quite a sombre QT.

I was pleased to see the that the viewbof the audience was more that it was wrong of Penny Mordaunt for the government, pulling back from voting.

Some good points raised on QT this week to be fair from Mrs May's Maidenhead constituency.

Urgh, who wants to watch a bunch of drunken Scots yelling at each other...

Actually it's really very good when it's from Scotland.
I usually like to hear the views from Scotland and I usually like Kate too.

I just think unfortunately this is likely to be allowed to descend by Fiona Bruce into further supposed analysis of the shambles in parliament last week on the Gaza ceasefire vote
Which is now becoming tiresome.

If that's avoided then it could be a fairly good programme.
I have often felt from Scotland, the audience have more passion and reasoning about their questioning normally.
It doesn't come across as pre scripted controversy like when QT is in English areas.

We all knew it - absolute disgrace

Charles Moore was on QT and writes

"What there was, however, was the most unrepresentative audience unanimity.
About 30 people, plus the three whose questions were called, must have
spoken on air. Without, I think, a single exception, they all expressed Left-wing
views.
For them, everything was the Government’s fault for not spending enough
money. Rishi Sunak was a billionaire (he isn’t, actually) and so understands
nothing. There should be no illegal immigration controls, let alone sending
people to Rwanda. Everyone who wants a sick note should have one. The place
was almost literally an echo chamber."

With respect Zizu you claim to dislike all politicians.
Yet mostly save your attack and acidity for Labour ones

I don't agree with you.
I see not much wrong with most of the names you've put there actually.

A couple I'm not keen on myself.
However look, I am a loyal Labour party member, I wouldnt be in a Party where the MPs are hideous.
I reject then your claim they are .
You cannot, just as I don't, even being a Labour member know ALL the Labour MPs.
So to brand many of over 200 only Labour MPs as hideous is rather sensationalist at best.

I myself don't believe many of the MPs in ANY and EVERY Party are hideous.
Most really do want to do their very best in politics and for others

People degrading them as hideous only possibly helps add to the hate against MPs and politics that is making many MPs of all Parties now in fear of just doing their jobs as MPs even in their constituencies for fear of being physically attacked or murdered.
As 2 have been in the last 8 years as to the latter.

I've no wish to negatively debate with you on this.
I appreciate and accept you intensely dislike politics and politicians.

HOWEVER I don't dislike them or politics at all.

Plus right now I have to head off campaigning for Labour today in this election now
So I bid you I hope a good day.

I do DETEST all politicians - that is correct !

I just go off what I see and hear on the seemingly endless TV programs and Labour in particular are crammed to the hilt with unsavoury, unpalatable individuals.

As regards your claim that most want to do their best for others simply doesn’t hold weight with the state of the country AND the unforgivable behaviour and antics of all party members.

Many of the worst periods for the country over the last 60 years were under LABOUR leadership yet their followers are either unaware of those facts or are in constant denial.

Oddly enough I ( like MILLIONS) had a soft spot for Boris and I still think he has a good heart .

Sure he has misgivings.. he has a liking for good looking women .. that’s just inbuilt though .

He is ( still) charismatic and he was so unfortunate to have to deal with the first horrific Coronavirus in a HUNDRED years

Even then he seemed to be handling things well ( certainly better than some governments worldwide) until he was unfortunately struck down badly by by the virus himself and then as we know he was ultimately let down badly by his politicians and advisors.

We will never agree and I obviously reject your claims on Party members of which I'm one

I see party members and other volunteers working like crazy campaigning
The vast majority and near all just supporting the Party the support

Quite what the unforgivable behaviour myself and other Party members of all Parties do, then Id like to hear your accusations on.
However it would be pointless as I would not agree with it at all anyway.

Just as I reject your statement only Labour are the worst periods of government.
The Cons have actually governed for 36 years, yes, over 3.5 decades of those 60 years.
After the last 14 years that's really a bit rich to claim that.

Labour governed for 24 years of the last 60 and as I recall they were normally dreadful -just as horrendous as the Tories in fact !

As I’ve said many times …for us insignificants at the bottom it matters not who is in charge

Edit

I seem to recall Gordon Brown bankrupting the country not too long ago then spent ten years criticising the Tories for their austerity - forced on them by Labour’s over spending..

When he did try to answer, Bruce kind of took over as usual.

He's a really good MP and it just seemed he didn't get to say much.

She had discussed unnecessary things for near half the programme, then cannot get in other really serious issues.

Matt Goodwin @GoodwinMJ

Something revealing happened on Question Time last night ...

We had a debate about the small boats. As I say in the clip below, Labour
Ministers like Jacqui Smith who claim Labour is fixing the crisis are lying to
you.

They say they are fixing the crisis but they are not. The number of boats is
rising. Our borders are out of control. We don't know who is coming into the
country. And you, the British people, are having to pay the price —£5.4 billion
every year to be exact and some £234 billion in the coming years if we let
them stay.

So despite people trying to shut me down I said what I said below because

the British people deserve to be told the truth The ONLY way we can fix this
mess is by leaving the European Convention Human Rights, reforming the
Human Rights Act and having a deterrent.

Then, when the credits were rolling, I turned to Smith, a Labour Minister, and
asked: "why are you lying to the British people?"

She replies: "oh do shut up". A Labour government minister.

It will all be on tape.

The key point is not my irritation but this: they don't care.

They don't care about lying to you. They don't care about evidence which
shows their plan is failing. All they want to do, like the left always does, is
shut down alternative views.

Speak the Truth. And call them out. Always.

Worthy to be watched
Mims came in after the Labour Fella at the first question
then the Trades Union young lady
started attacking her.

Great, the Public there
Had valid Questions.

I really found the leader of Plaid Cymru extremely annoying.
He wasn't making much sense on any of the raised issues.

I also have to say I have NO idea at all why the Welsh assembly needs now 96 elected members as opposed to the 60 it's had thus far.
No one really addressed that in any way at all as to WHY?

Amazing start to the show with
the Presenter saying
Jo Grady knows Reform
will take power.

Labour Benefits Cuts from the
older lady with Blonde Hair. (Lisa)
set the tone,

Conservative MP got a great attack
on what the voters did not vote for.

This was really awful.

I like James Murray, he at least sticks to what he's saying and doesn't ramble on.
Whether what he's saying is what people like or want to hear, is another matter.

Jo Grady failed to impress too, she made sure she was heard however.

Calum Miller of the LibDems, did he actually say any single thing of any relevance that wasn't just sitting on the fence

Graham Stuart, I actually like him, it's impossible for any Conservative at present to sound valid, however he does his best

Richard Tice, now it's no secret I haven't a millisecond of my time for Reform, even moreso under the odious Farage.
Richard Tice rarely says anything I agree with but tonight, to be fair, he didn't get much of a chance as he was interrupted by Fiona Bruce and told to be quiet often.
I think she was more rude towards him last night.
He was only trying to interrupt with valid questions, he wasn't just interrupting to be obstructive.

This show is really bad now.

That was pathetic.
She wastes a third of the programme on a not so very important issue.
Then has to rush through the more relevant end bit of the programme.

[The BBC has quietly edited an episode
of Question Time following a dispute
between Reform UK deputy leader
Richard Tice and host Fiona Bruce
over climate change statistics.

The segment, which involved Bruce attempting
to correct Tice on the proportion
of man-made carbon emissions,
was removed from the broadcast version
of the programme.]

Just watched this now as I recorded It last night.

It was actually a good one and didn't really get too toxic.
A lot of measured and interesting commenting from the panel.

Although I get the feeling Tim Montgomerie now having made his move to Reform, is far from settled there.
He was extremely reasoned and at odds with Farage on some things.

Again though, it was another quick flash done at the end on a very serious issue, surely the planners can distribute time equally as to questions going to be asked.
The questions are selected before the programme is filmed!
