I think its really nasty to call her a slag or any woman for that matter, plus just because someone is deemed the most beautiful woman in the world as Diana was definately beautiful,it does not make them someone who does nothing wrong or is perfect, Diana had her faults aswell as we all do, i am not indoctrinated into anything ,I just know in life we are not perfect and we are not privvy to others thoughts and actions,if you want to believe everything the press media feed you, thats up to you.

Do not chuck them with the Daily Mail
GB news has gone far less balanced than it was arista.
If I was in, I used to watch a bit of it but it's descended to be more like TalkTV.
It's gone pretty close to the Mail attitude and construction of debate now actually.
Sadly across all our media it's now near impossible to get real truth.
You get the papers and TV media's manipulation of the news to suit their own agendas.
I'd now take very little on TV media as gospel.
I'd take not a thing from so called 'news' papers as gospel at all.
The lot of them are failing all journalism and real news reporting.
What on Earth has Di’s looks got to do with anything ?!
You are aware of the gruesome twosome’s sordid affair … before and after Di’s fairytale romance and marriage ( both a cruel sham sadly for Di )
It’s ridiculous to expect Di to have been the same person after she discovered the truth about her supposedly loving and faithful husband .. I wasn’t at all surprised to learn that she took a lover or two - was she supposed to live and die like a nun ?!?
Yet she’s vilified for doing what every other person would do when their partner is unfaithful and unrepentant.

Diana wasn’t ‘at it’ until well after she discovered the truth about her philandering husband .. there’s a difference
Also Camilla was already cheating on her husband with Charlie boy before Di was selected to be a breeder female. .. she then chose to carry on the affair when Charlie married Di .

Regarding the arrests - the police had intelligence that there were elements who intended to disrupt the procession.
They couldn’t take the risk, with so many horses, if they had been spooked or gone off course it could be a disaster. Better to pre - empt than to wait and see if something should happen when it would be too late. There are 364 days a year for people to protest, one day they are not for the sake of the safety of the crowds was the right decision to make.
The amount of stories about Harry and mentions of Meghan are hilarious. The Coronation was about the KING And working Royals, not the Sussex pair. Charles wanted Harry there,he came and looked happy and relaxed sar with other non working royals. He then had no part in the rest of the proceedings as a non working Royal so left to go home and spend time with his son on his birthday. Don't know why the media keep writing stories about him when the focus of the day was the King and working Royals
We watched the whole thing and Harry (or Meghan) were barely mentioned at all, even the daily papers I take had practically nothing about them, thank goodness...

You can keep repeating the fictional ‘Crown’ series version of events but it just doesn’t stack up. There is no evidence at all, not one shred, (even Diana never said so) that he had an affair with Camilla as soon as he married Diana. There are many that insist he didn’t start the affair until 5 years afterwards, in 1986, ‘when the marriage had irretrievably broken down’.
There is however some credence that Diana was the first to have affairs, which was suppressed by the media of the time to suit their narrative of the beautiful, perfect Princess. Obviously the marriage wasn’t working, for both of them.
It was reported that her first affair was in 1983 with a man called Henry Herbert, the 17th Earl of Pembroke.
Her friend Julia Samuels admitted that Diana had an affair with her protection officer, Barry Mannakee in 1985….and it is said there were others.
Then came James Hewitt, Will Carling and Oliver Hoare, all of which were carried out after Charles started his affair with Camilla.
I was a huge Diana fan and had so much sympathy for her, still do, but from all I have read, from friends of both, I’m inclined to believe the above.

The Duke of Sussex has returned to California after catching a British Airways flight within hours of his father's Coronation service.
Prince Harry arrived at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at around 7.30pm local time (3.30am BST) to reunite with his son Prince Archie on his birthday.
British Airways flight attendants confirmed to the PA news agency that Harry had been on the flight but said they were not permitted to discuss his trip.
The Duke, 38, had always planned a swift turnaround, his priority being to support his father during the historic ceremony.
Beyond that, he was determined to make it back to the family home in Montecito in order to kiss his son goodnight on his fourth birthday - May 6.
As they chatted ahead of the service, Jack Brooksbank, husband of Princess Eugenie, appeared to be asking Harry about his return plans.
“About quarter to four,” the Duke told him, according to lip readers.
After processing out of Westminster Abbey alongside his family, he was driven off and made a quick vehicle change before heading straight to the airport.
The Duke stayed in the UK for under 36 hours, having arrived at Heathrow on a commercial American Airlines flight from Los Angeles on Friday morning, according to reports.
Who said he wouid be home in time for lunch :skull:
Good riddance! :hee:
I noticed that Eugenie and Beatrice, who until recently were still friendly to Harry, hardly spoke to him at all, it was left to their poor husbands to tolerate him. Both girls were seen out dining with Piers Morgan and a few others recently and Beatrice gave Piers a big hug goodnight outside the restaurant....Hmmm...what gives....

So people complain about Diversity....then when there is Diversity its forced...
They just cant win can they....
I personally believe wanting a family to be diverse just to look good rather than because they genuinely love each other and see each other as family is the very definition of forced diversity imo.
That woman at the BBC was advocating for forced relationships within the Royal Family just to look good towards certain communities.
I personally will never support arranged relationships, it's why I've always struggled with the Royal Family and most organised Religions because there are elements within them that want to control peoples lives.

A dog belonging to a couple nearby took a fancy to me during the concert
and lay down right over my feet so I coudn't move. Every time I tried to dislodge it it looked up at me and growled. I couldn't move from my seat for nearly an hour, and the couple it belonged to weren't even bothered. Finally I pretended I needed to go to the loo and they had to physically lift him off me.
My family thought it was hilarious. I suppose it was...

As regards my ability to express myself ..
It’s complex .. given I’m impulsive and impetuous and have what feels like a thousand thoughts spinning around my mind .. I sometimes make errors of judgement - usually I go back and edit or delete but occasionally some slip through the net ..
Sometimes I just don’t see that something is unreasonable or inappropriate.

Seriously after your thread openly asking for opinions on you meeting an ex behind you ex’s back, you should be ashamed of yourself let alone call out others
I never pursued it. I cut off all contact. I didn't do as Camilla and Charles did to Diana. Nobody will ever change my opinion.

Well I didn’t initiate the use of the slag term.. I simply commented on a post and agreed with it ..
I rely heavily on the spell checker ..
Every post probably takes about three to five times longer than everyone else’s which is draining ..

I'll likely get jumped on here but how sad to see this thread from how it began on the day to now have descended and been allowed to descend into the negativity it has now.
I'm no fan of Queen Camilla.
However it is the late Queen who directed that she should be Queen consort.
King Charles 111 was always going to be King, that is his long centuries old birthright.
He wants his wife now at his side as his Queen.
It doesn't matter what I think on this issue, he IS the King and he has the decision to make his wife Queen and not just Queen consort.
There's no power element there, they are figureheads of the Nation that's all.
It was sad and even cruel what he and Camilla did to Princess Diana.
It was a sad and bad marriage overall likely.
However Camilla clearly makes him happy.
The late Queen fully accepted her.
I could well understand if both or even just one of Princess Diana's sons were more hostile to Queen Camilla.
They have however been married for 18 years and he is now in his 70s so to have the woman he sees as his rock as his Queen, in my view that's near perfect.
He has the one person who can and will support him through his duties as King.
I couldn't begrudge him that at all.
Would you be happy if she died tomorrow?

You can keep repeating the fictional ‘Crown’ series version of events but it just doesn’t stack up. There is no evidence at all, not one shred, (even Diana never said so) that he resumed an affair with Camilla as soon as he married Diana.
Obviously the marriage wasn’t working, for both of them and I guess Diana knew only too well that his heart still belonged with Camilla.
It was reported that her first affair was in 1983 with a man called Henry Herbert, the 17th Earl of Pembroke.
Julia Samuels, her friend, admitted Diana was having an affair with her protection officer, Barry Mannakee in 1985….and it is said there were others.
Then came James Hewitt, Will Carling and Oliver Hoare, all of which were carried out after Charles started his affair with Camilla.
I was a huge Diana fan and had so much sympathy for her, still do, but from all I have read, from friends of both couples, I’m inclined to believe the above.

I cannot imagine at all IF we could ask the late Queen now did she disagree with King Charle's decision here now.

It is what is is with Camilla. I don't actually blame her for the breakdown of the various marriages, I blame the Royals as a whole. Charles should have been allowed to marry her in the first place then Doana would have never been dragged along for the ride. That didn't happen and as in many marriages Charles and Di were not a match made in heaven and they strayed. Not ideal but not uncommon. You can tell by looking at them now they were / are soul mates and make each other very happy.
Tradition dictates Camilla shpuld be Queen and so she is. I don't think anyone should have the obscene wealth the royals have given how a lot of it was acquired but it is what it is

Heres the thing, it was good old Henry the 8th that set the precedent. He divorced Catherine and married Anne, and she became queen. If he had not created a new religion specifically so he could do that then things would have been different.
However, Diana died, and Charles didn't marry Camilla until after her death so she becomes queen without the need for any religious jiggery pokery
