Are you up with a sustaining spring first thing on a Monday morning or is evening-television the only highlight of a time you generally spend counting down till Friday?

No problem.
I'm fine on Mondays.

Depends what sort of weekend I've had. Weekend just gone I had one of my best friend's wedding on Saturday - we had a golf day Friday getting very drunk after, loads of booze at the wedding, then made the mistake of an all day hair of the dog on Sunday. Honestly felt absolutely rotten since then until today

I don't have weekends like that very often now though, I actually quite like work generally so would rather be in a good state for it on Monday (or by Tuesday at least heh, a Monday write off is often acceptable)

I’ve got to cap the hair-of-the-dog stuff at just-after brunch on Sundays. Everyone has their own style to vibe to but I just know that for me Sundays are not a good overall day for drinking unless it’s a bank-holiday. Thursday (happy hour), Friday and Saturday are my on-days if I fancy a drink or two. I don’t go hard when it comes to all-round weekend benders but people who hate their jobs/day-to-day lives like to let loose a bit more and longer than they should.

It is what it is either way. No harm done in not leaving your bed on a lazy Sunday and getting antiquated with your favourite Netflix series (I’m more about iPlayer, YouTube and Channel 4 myself but everyone’s different) over a bottle of Buck’s Fizz (hair-of-the-dog) if you can still pull yourself together functionally when you need to. I wouldn’t start a pointless argument with someone over how they spend their weekends because that’s a very personal thing.
