What one should I get ?
What one should I get ?Depends what you want to spend?
They all do the same job.
Mine is a Tower family size. I paid about £70 for it. It's the only one I've had so it's the only one I know.
Do some research online and find the one for you
Makes brilliant chicken wings.
No and I resent that there seems to always be an assumption that everyone should have one now, almost every recipe I see I think 'oh that looks good' and then they go 'next you just put it in the air fryer for 10 minutes'
Well I don't have a bloody air fryer, how long in the oven :fist:

I actually haven't been to the pub for nearly two weeks now which is why I'm reduced to watching recipe videos :joker:

I have one but we hardly every use it tbh, you can't fit much in it and the chips aren't crispy unless you only cook about 10 of them at a time
It does cook chicken breasts really nicely though

If I'm having something fried, I want it to knock at least a few months off my life :joker: so I don't see the point in healthy frying?
i got one a few weeks ago after reading all the endorsements for them on here, and now it's used every day

Try this for Chips or wedges cut them then soak in water for 15 minutes, then pat dry with kitchen towel...put in a bowl and mix with garlic salt...paprika and half a teaspoon of oil...preheat the fryer and put them in..takes about 25 minutes

Be careful you don’t end up with one from Mr Rustic for Christmas :worry:
preheating is the only way to get consistent results

That I've noticed, I'll check when I'm home and report back lol

It does cook chicken breasts really nicely thoughI agree with this. You need quite a big one for it to work.
Secret to chips is to cook them on a really low heat eg 100 till they are soft then blast them at full whack until golden brown. Crispy chips, fluffy on the inside ever time.
I like to do chicken wings then finish off in the oven. It was a Friday night ritual during lock down.

Tower is the brand, looks like this one but I'm not sure that's the exact one, I'd have to check at home

That is a cheap Argos one and your issues are due to that fryer and not Air Fryers in General
If you look at that video I posted with the lady she is using this one and you wont have a problem with that:
