Great Debate on LBC

[Wider research suggests that Britain
is becoming more secular not because
adults are losing their religion or inclination to practise
but because old people with an attachment
to the Church of England and other Christian
denominations are gradually being replaced
in the population by unaffiliated younger people.]

Id say actual Christians who attend church and read the Bible would be closer to 3%

people used to say it when they were christened in a church, i have no idea if it still holds true. It was an optional question, and i didnt answer it

Good, the further we get from archaic establishments having unfettered influence over a free nation the better

Would you say that about Mosques ? .

Would I say what about mosques? If you mean would I say the same thing about all religions, then my answer is yes, I don’t believe a persons personal religion has any place being a controlling or influential factor over a general population

I get what you were trying to do though and honestly, you can do better, that was lazy

There was nothing lazy in what I said , if you mean all religion ...them good luck with that . Even Scientology is classed as a religion now aswell.

Also most people I would say have some form of spiritual belief, not everyone is controlling with it ... People just believe there's more to life than this.
