Just type "Detectorists" into twitter search and then click on "latest tweets" and then scroll down reading the comments. There you will discover that the Detectorists was bar far the outstanding highlight of this years Christmas television.

In a league of it's own.

I know I keep repeating this, but if you've never watched the show then get on Iplayer and watch it all. It's by far the best show of the past decade. It's something that you need to do in life before you die.
