- I think people should be paid well and fairly for the work they do and training they've done based on competitive market rates and at least matching the rate of inflation.

- You think people should accept low payment in public services far below the market rate for those services, accept that they must suffer because others are suffering too, and that it's selfish to demand an appropriate salary that meets economic expectations, that they should not strike but rather that they should continue to work at low rates of pay "for the greater public good".
