Singer Celine Dion has postponed tour dates :incurable health condition

[Celine Dion has revealed she has been
diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS),
a rare neurological disorder with features
of an autoimmune disease.

The French Canadian singer told her
5.2m Instagram followers the condition
makes her muscles spasm uncontrollably.

It has also left her with difficulties walking
and singing, she said, meaning she
will be unable to play planned shows
in the UK and Europe next year.

"I've been dealing with problems with
my health for a long time," said Dion.

"And it's been really difficult for me to face
these challenges and to talk about
everything that I've been going through,"
the 54-year-old continued in an
emotionally-charged video.

"Recently I've been diagnosed with
a very rare neurological disorder called
the stiff person syndrome which affects
something like one in a million people.

'While we're still learning about this
rare condition, we now know this is
what's been causing all of the spasms
I've been having."]

From what I recall , when she was dominating the charts decades ago she never looked ‘well’ .. she always looked dreadfully malnourished .,

But obviously it's sad news to hear about, hopefully there's decent treatment that makes it at least manageable for her.

Awful news.

Seems that she's been ill for many years but it was dismissed by her numerous times anything was wrong.

Last photo I saw of her was about 2 years ago and she looked about 95. Very gaunt. Loose skin. Didn't look well at all.

Much older than her years. That in contrast to her in her prime.

Just saw the video she posted for her fans informing them ,awww it's awful news . For a while I was worried about her health, and I kept thinking she didn't look well. She's a fighter , and you can tell her passion is in singing, I wish her well X .
