Wonder what Alf thinks of this.

I don't rate Dyche myself.

He will presumably make them difficult to beat .. picking up valuable points along the way

Decent keeper , two good CBs is a good base

Dyche was at Burnley for years, he had years to shape the team and get them playing the way he wanted. With Everton, he has got to achieve the same thing in 3 months with a group of players that have been acquired by 5 different managers all with their own needs and style. I don't think he has a hope in hell

To Italian clubs in general .. most swap managers each season and some of them have instant success .. so it IS possible .. as it happens all the time

this is the problem Everton have. Their supporters are deluded as to the status of their club. It's like saying Liz Truss was a great PM

There's no bigger club in the World than Everton.

We're one of the original 12 football league clubs and have played more seasons in the top league than anyone else.

but a club is only as good as its current form, just look at liverpool and man city. Everton haven't been a good club in 40+ years

They were a decent side under Moysey for many a year

Everton a very sustainable club

https://cdn.theathletic.com/app/uploads/2023/01/25163829/PL-Sustainability.png

The Sustainability Index, Fair Game argues, is the solution to football’s
problems. A grading system by which every club is judged on financial
sustainability, governance, fan engagement and equality standards. The higher
your score, the greater your reward.
