View Full Version : The 20 year old cat has died.
Annie.
I think I mentioned her. 20 years old, finally gone. All snuggled up at home in her sleep.
My sister took her to the vets to be burnt into dust. I wasnt very happy about that decision.
The duchess deserved the back garden.

a great age x
a great age x
I have no emotional attachment to her apart from the occasional shoo from my lap. But she deserved better than a pile off cinders, because of her great age.
I cant say anything to my sister yet, shes to upset atm.
It will come out at some point though, size 10s, dropped right into a peaceful evening.:joker:

Mock, it's my sisters cat. Its had 20 years of pure live from my sister, and then her ex husband and the forecoming kids shes sorted. It died warm, snuggled up and at home.
To me, I remeber it when it was younger. When my sister first moved up to edinburgh and had her own flat. When I went up for a weekend or even just a visit now and again, it was always a feisty wee bastard. The most unpredictable feline I've ever come across. In the end like xmas time was the last time I saw it, it was just a gnarly looking creep of a thing that made you half boak looking at her.
I'm remembering her tonight though with a little brandy.

That's an interesting story.
At least you can say that you'll never forget her.

20 is a great age, our last cat only made it to 2 :(. We'll, allegedly. She went missing, we put out a load of fliers, heard nothing for a week... Then we get a call from a withheld number, some woman saying "Sorry she was hit by a car outside my house, my gardener buried her". Already a bit weird but then they refused to give us a name, address, phone number or anything and hung up.
So either it was them that hit her and they feel guilty, or my cat is living in someone's house as a house cat that they didn't want to give back :oh:.
