Trying to make out a Signature?

Gawd knows. It's on a John Lennon Canvas (shown in the pics). Been sitting up my Granddad's place for years. No idea if it's worth £20 or whatever. He doesn't know much about it either, only that he's had it forever. Dated 1964.

Drives me barmy when someone paints a half decent landscape and then ruins the whole thing by scrawling their stupid name in a corner like anyone cares or they are going to be famous

They also hardly ever write on the back what the fecking pic is of

too busy runing their work on the front

I might just whack it on ebay and see if i get 10 or 20 quid. It's in bad condition with the paint spurts on it, looks like someone just left it there and rolled the walls around it instead of putting it in another room too :laugh:

It looks like acrylic on canvas

if you take a magnifying glass to it and it was a print you would see the little dots that make a print

but looks like a painting and the back side should look like this

I've made the listing, it wont be live just yet. I might be a knob and put it on for a few bob and see if i get any questions or interest. If not, i'll whack it on for 99p and see where it goes.

Its a poor tactic and the number one reason why things dont sell on ebay

Get it in low and gets some bids and that will draw a crowd

If that was up for sale at the auctions I attend it would probably make £10-£20

Im putting on high, for 10 days, to see if there's any interest. I do believe you though LT. I can't see it being worth more than 20 quid.

But on the 00.1% chance it's unique in some way or another, i've listed it high. Im in no rush for money or to sell it.

We'll see what happens. If i don't get any interest i'll relist it for 99p

Im not posting a link, but if anyone wants to see it it wont be hard to find. Im cancelling bids from anyone with feedback rating of less than 10 anyway, i got screwed by a new account with no ratings for some low value dvd's the other day. They bid and won 8 of them only about 30 quid combined, but they're no longer a registered user. It's not really a problem, they can be relisted. Im only selling low value stuff to build my rating up. My last account was shared with my ex from a couple years ago, it was in her name, so i've had to start from scratch
