How tf does a book being damaged warrant "concerned community leaders" being involved?
The only people who should be concerned are the boys, their lives are likely in danger.

" community leaders" = ANTI BRITISH "ASIANS" who want to live in the arab world
How tf does a book being damaged warrant "concerned community leaders" being involved?
The only people who should be concerned are the boys, their lives are likely in danger. Why are the far-left not calling these Islam followers "racists and bigots" for treating these innocent boys this way? They usually can't wait to stick those labels on people.

Which way? Have any threats been made yet?

Which way? Have any threats been made yet?
(not seen the video)There's grown men holding meetings with a Police presence and the mother of one of the boys dressed up in oppressive clothing to appease them whilst making a groveling apology for something that should be legal in a free country.
Why try make excuses for it? This is wrong.

Imo there is nothing wrong in not liking organised Religion.
Some of the leaders in organised Religion are corrupt.

To be fair, even if the coverage was sympathetic to the boys, getting the story out there puts them in real danger.

No one should have to hide from this. They have had death threats. I want to see the culprits charged instead of another cover-up for the benefit of radical Muslims.

The poor mother is probably terrified for her sons life...cannot believe all those men sitting there looking smug while she had to grovel ....these are kids, more specifically an autistic kid who did this for a dare, the matter should have been dealt with internally by the school .this is madness

The only way it should be dealt with is to tell violent zealots to get lost and stop intimidating children.

as I understand it this happened on the school grounds, so like any other 'minor incident' it should have been dealt with by the school internally, I am sure if they were using a bible as a football that is what would have happened, dont do it again, its not really appropriate kind of thing..... end of story, no need for the press, no need for the council, no need for the police, no need for parents to be dragged in, a quick phonecall would have sufficed, this happened, we are not happy, speak to your son, we will also speak to them..end of

What is it called when someone makes fun of the bible = nothing , With other religions it's got a ism or phobe attached .
I'm not saying it's right what the kid did,but there's never been a level playing field with what is & isn't 'disrespectful' . Plus the kid is autistic aswell .

Four pupils have been suspended from a West Yorkshire secondary school after a copy of the Quran was slightly damaged by students.
Wednesday's incident at Wakefield's Kettlethorpe High School happened
when a copy of the Islamic text was brought in by a Year 10 pupil.
Head teacher Tudor Griffiths said the book remained intact and there was "no
malicious intent" from those involved.
He held a meeting with concerned community leaders on and the police Friday.
Independent councillor for Wakefield East, Akef Akbar, called the meeting
after being contacted by people calling for more information.
https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/976/cpsprodpb/9F28/production/_128744704_mediaitem128739022.jpg.webp
Mr Akbar said he had been told the book had been taken to school as a dare
by a pupil who lost while playing a Call of Duty videogame with other
students.
While at the school it sustained a slight tear to the cover and smears of dirt
on some of the pages.
Mr Akbar said he understood it had been kicked around on the school
premises - a claim denied by the school.
Head teacher Mr Griffiths said in a statement: "We would like to reassure all
our community that the holy book remains fully intact and that our initial
enquiries indicate there was no malicious intent by those involved.
"However, we have made it very clear that their actions did not treat the
Quran with the respect it should(?) have, so those involved have been
suspended and we will be working with them to ensure they understand why
their actions were unacceptable
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said they were "liaising" with the
school.
"Initial enquiries have confirmed minor damage was caused to the text and
officers are continuing to work closely with the school," they added.

"concerned community leaders?"
Let's call them what they really are, "a threatening mob" The same kind of "threatening mob" that last year, just 6 miles down the road in Batley, made a teacher go into hiding. Still in hiding I presume.

Islamic extremists?
Islamic extremists? Are you saying Islamic religious extremists are walking the streets of the UK?
If so, why the Hell are we prioritising Andrew Tate and his brother as being our biggest, most dangerous threat? I see them as a couple of pussycats.
It sounds like we need to be looking elsewhere to speak out if what you say is true.
I thought the books of Roald Dahl were one of our major threats, but what Oliver said has made me think again.

he mother of one of four boys suspended after 'accidentally' dropping a copy of the Quran says he has been left 'absolutely petrified' after receiving death threats.
West Yorkshire Police recorded a 'hate incident' at Kettlethorpe High School after pupils caused 'slight damage' to a copy of the Quran when it fell on the floor.
The Year 10 boy, who is 14 and autistic, was told by friends to bring in a copy of the holy book as a forfeit for losing at the video game Call Of Duty.
It was then reportedly dropped, causing some damage and scuffing to the pages. All four pupils involved in the incident at the West Yorkshire school were suspended and the police informed.
Officers investigating the incident found there had been only 'minor damage' to the Quran during the prank and that no crime had been committed. It was recorded as a 'non-crime hate incident', a designation the police use to record incidents that don’t meet the criminal threshold.

Muslim-based death threats so the Police will not be interested in the slightest

There were many callers of Muslim faith including an Iman to LBC who said the response to this by the school was completely disproportionate, I don't know if it is white saviours or radical extremists who set this in motion but here we are

A press conference was arranged at the local mosque
School, Senior POlice officer and a bussed in "Iman"
The Iman says "to her credit" :umm2: the mum of the traumatized autistic school boy does not want to take any further the death threats he received from the muslim community - but did not condemn them (he did bizarrely say he was worried about a rise in homosexuality). He did say that "they" will not let this go.
The Police Cheif started banging on about how all faiths must live together and but said NOTHING about the death threats
This against the background of the Manchester Arena bombings inquiry that concluded that we are not good at spottin g extremists in out midst
You could not make this sh1t up

Worth pointing out that the religious zealots in this case are 100% displaying right-wing tactics and outrage here and calling it "woke" is daft. These are fascist ideologies that have far more in common with the worrying rise in other religious branches of politics that seem to be celebrated by many of the same people; i.e. your Kate Forbeses, or Republican evangelists in the US. When you applaud or turn a blind eye to that ideology when it happens to fit your own purposes, you're on shaky ground complaining about it when it's "the wrong god".
Not that I'm saying you chaps are religious, but many seem happy enough to crow alongside the Christian hard-liners then clutch at pearls when it's Muslims.
And to clarify I suppose; no I'm not on the side of the people screeching about a book. I just don't like hypocrisy. If you can see the illogic and danger in these people, where is your concern about the Christian Right?

The boy's mother absolutely should take those feral scumbags death threats seriously, in fact take them to court. Why should they be let off?
