Another story recycled and regurgitated to fit modern PC world , why didn't Disney just make a new story and idea?. Also the lost boys have girls in it ...erm OK:huh::skull: . They just keep remaking old classics instead, which i find lazy and i guess they don't care that they're losing viewers and subscribers.

It won't be as good as the Jeremy Sumpter one, but whatevs, they can knock themselves out.
The one with the hospital was pretty good.

Even the pro-woke crowd can't defend there being girls in the Lost Boys.
Don't get me wrong it doesn't make the Film automatically bad, but it's clear that it's no kids masterpiece when there's already a flaw in the writing before the whole Film is released to the public.
And look don't get me wrong, sometimes the Anti-Woke crowd can be harsh (Arcane, ROP & The Sandman get it harsh from that particular crowd imo) but there's a clear logic fail at there being girls in the Lost Boys.

I'm surprised they didn't just change it to 'lost girls ' , I can already tell the girls in the group will be seen as "better than boys", as that's another message that's always pushed in movies these days. I know you hate the phrase 'woke' ,tbh I just say pc tick boxing now lol .
Also if we put aside the whole 'inclusive' thing. Disney is very lazy ...they just keep remaking old classics instead of coming up with new stories  . That in itself gets on my nerves a bit .
I know this isn't the same brand or company ,but Great expectations is being remade yet again aswell . And I'm wondering what is the point ??? .....apart from a quick cash grab without much creativity:shrug:.

I agree with you about the Lost Boys storyline in this remake because I'm gonna guess that Hollywood once again have hired hacks for this Film who don't know how to write a story or characters without undermining other elements of the Film.
I don't mind the word Woke when I feel that it's appropriate to use it, but I do feel like sometimes there are certain groups on the Internet that will use the word because either there's a black person in a Film/TV Show or a woman is being portrayed as something other than a pathetic damsel.

Yeah I understand that
Well the sad thing is strong female characters get written badly these days ( obviously not all ) , but she hulk has had bad reviews. We just don't see many well written characters like e.g Ripley from Alien movies .

Oh I haven't watched She Hulk tbf, but from what I've heard it sounds like a man hating mess.
I controversially don't mind Galadriel from Rings Of Power, she kind of reminds me of Clare from a series called Claymore to some extent, although I will say not as well written as Clare imo, but I still don't mind her character.
And I 100% agree with you that Ripley was and still is a great Ambassador for strong writing for women in entertainment.

my review
visual effects wise looking stunning
the pirate songs also really nice
Jude Law fantastic performance as Hook (unrecognizable too :D), almost as good as Dustin Hoffman's version which to me is still the best one
the ''Wendy'' actress is Milla Jovovich's daughter :o :o :o well talent deffo runs in that family
yes thoroughly enjoyed watching that
