Mae Muller to stick to singing and keep quiet on

Ms Muller – a former barmaid and
shop worker from North London – had ‘been spoken to’.
One said: ‘Mae has been told to cut out
the politics and just sing.
‘Both the BBC and her managers are acutely aware
of the need for her not to become known
for making controversial remarks,
rather than for making good music.’
As well as lambasting Mr Johnson,
Ms Muller has also tweeted her support
of former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
In another post she wrote
‘I hate this country’ as she offered her
opinion on free school meals.]

The Tory bbc bosses trying to silence someone’s opinions because they don’t like them? I am surprised
The people bothered by her wouldn’t bat an eyelid if she was a brexit loving flag shagger

Bang on Right LT
She's our Eurovision entry not a BBC employee, they're only the broadcaster of the show so not sure why they should have that much control over her

Because they can’t stand that the Tory facade is failing and they want to stop any form of dissent, it what happens when you insert sycophants into positions of power at broadcasters, they become state tv channels

It’s our right as citizens to criticise and hold contempt for our country and the decisions we make

Tbf just cancel her. She can’t sing live. It’s the kinder thing to pull her now than let her embarrass herself and the country next montj

People flippantly say stuff like that all the time, it was just a tweet

When will the BBC learn that people can say whatever they want to?
We're not meant to be China after all.

so if she said that she thinks that there are too many black people in London and she thinks trans is a boring fad you would be fine with her representing the UK in the ESC??

Specific criticisms are fine, but a generic "wahh I have my country wahhh" is just pathetic, especially from someone who's representing the country.

First time I heard it was last night it was pretty bland and generic compared to a lot of the other entries not surprised it bombed, though the host nation usually gets a bounce just for hosting
