[Paedophile Gary Glitter is being sent back
to prison just a month after being released.
The disgraced rock star, 78, is understood to have
been caught 'trying to access the Dark Web
on his phone'.

Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd,
was spotted inside a bail hostel
in Waterlooville, Hampshire,
where he was 'asking how to avoid detection
when web browsing' on a mobile phone while saying
he is trying to find 'the Onion'.
The Onion' is a term for the infamous online realm
the Dark Web, used by paedophiles as
it is hard to monitor or trace users.
Glitter was seen hiding under a brown blanket
as he was driven out of the bail hostel on
Monday evening in an unmarked police car.

The Probation Service has confirmed Glitter's recall,
with a spokesperson commenting on
his return to custody:
'Protecting the public is our number one priority.]

It goes without saying, paedos are disgusting people.

He's been in jail for years and the first thing on his mind is looking at obscene pictures of young kids, and even contacting them.:fist:

You'd think he would have received some sort of treatment for his diseased mind.

He almost immediately sought contact with more victims after a lengthy period in jail... this is clear evidence that he can never be freed. He would definitely do the same again.

Disgraced singer Gary Glitter refused jail release

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68227540

[Convicted sex offender Gary Glitter will
remain behind bars after losing a
Parole Board bid.
Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd,
was jailed for 16 years in 2015 for
sexually abusing three schoolgirls
between 1975 and 1980.
The 79-year-old was automatically released
in February last year but was put back behind
bars six weeks later after breaching
his licence conditions.

A panel said Gadd
continued to show a "lack of victim empathy".]

Fair Play.

no, bands didn't tend to earn much back in the day. A number 1 single may have earned about 10k. Even now, a number 1 single earns next to nothing, it's the tours that make the money.

Glitter will have received next to nothing in royalties because no-one will buy his stuff

I've just looked on Amazon.

As recently as 2023, there was a review from someone that had bought the "Ultimate" Gary Glitter Album.

And tbf, the Music isn't the person.

that may be, but not in quantities to earn cash. I'm involved in the music business, i know how difficult it is for artists to earn money. A few artists do very well, but you will find that most big artists have sold off their music catalog, because the money just isn't there any more and the better solution is to hand it off to companies for a lump sum now and Gary Glitter is not in that category. He was the face of a band in the 70's that had a couple of hit singles. That's it

“ Even after handing over the amount of £1/2 million. Glitter will still be extraordinarily wealthy, with a fortune estimated to be approximately £6million... “

I normally feel bad for singers who might be financially struggling to make a profit.

But in Gary Glitter's case, I am glad about what you're telling me.

…he raped her when she was 12yrs old, purposefully avoided paying any compensation later and now he’s facing financial ruin…?…sometimes the world does level itself out somewhat…why are the Mirror giving him front page story fees, though…

I'm always wary of cash payouts after a crime. No amount of money will change what happened.
