Facebook is the biggest spreader of misinformation in the world, but if it does die, whatever replaces it will be 10x worse.

the parent group is rolling in cash, so it wont be going away any time soon. It has also got more personal information on people around the world than probably any other organisation, so it will do just fine

I'm not sure there's an ALTERNATIVE to capitalism at this point without a serious global population drop (now now, don't get Alf started!) - but there sure as heck are alternative forms of socially-minded capitalism with limits, controls and proper wealth distribution that would make for a better world than what's happening now (which is basically all of the wealth bubbling up to the top at an exponential rate - completely unsustainable).

No. The greatest generation came back from the horrors of WW2 and provided the most socialist government we've had. They created the NHS and introduced a welfare state.

At the moment we give all of our money to capital and corporations in the hope that some if it trickles down, which it never does because it's not designed to; it's just to keep people hoping in silence.
