Just when the housemates think they know all there is to know, Big Brother turns everything on its head for the next week.

And the best part is that everyone will know EXCEPT the housemates.

Big Brother’s “Fake Week” kicked off on Friday’s eviction show. The housemates were introduced, via the Living Area’s plasma screen, to their new ‘Housemate’, Pauline. Having been ‘evicted’ from Australia’s Big Brother she will join them in the UK, on Sunday. They were also told that their fellow housemate, who had just been evicted, was jetting to Australia.

What the housemates didn’t know was that Pauline is in fact actress Thaila Zucchi and that she chatted with Davina on their doorstep! Pauline won’t have to fly 24 hours to get to the house or suffer jet-lag. But they won’t know that.

Big Brother’s faking it will begin with Pauline’s entrance, following an interview with Dermot on T4’s Sunday outing of Big Brother’s Little Brother (12.45pm C4). The housemates will then be set a number of Australian themed tasks to make their new ‘housemate’ feel at home. What they won’t know is that the real task is actually guessing if Pauline is a fake, or not.

Her current housemates think she’ll be sleeping in a specially decorated bedroom next door to theirs. Actress Thaila will also be visiting Big Brother’s Little Brother for latest updates throughout her stay and Big Brother will also be setting Pauline secret tasks each day to keep the housemates thinking…is she…isn’t she?

In what will be the weirdest week of their lives, the housemates will also face a week of Big Brother’s fake tasks and twists, ending in a ‘fake eviction’ that viewers will be in on.

Throughout “Fake Week” viewers will know exactly what Big Brother is planning for the Housemates. But will the Housemates work it out?

Highlights from tonight's show, Friday 6 July 2007, 8.30pm and 10.00pm on Channel 4. Join Davina McCall LIVE to find out if Chanelle or Laura will be evicted.

Day 37
11:19am - Brian is asleep in the caravan. Gerry and Ziggy are talking in the garden, talking about the possibility of a new housemate. Gerry says he'd like a new male in the house, and Ziggy says "I want to see someone older, someone with a bit of class … someone who just isn't talking about themselves constantly". Gerry says that he thinks Laura will be loved by the public and that her and Chanelle being up against each other is "probably the worst combination". "I'm not expecting a miracle" says Ziggy. "I already know". Gerry says "me too". Ziggy adds "if Chanelle does go, it will leave me free, on my own to start doing what I want to do".

1:54pm - Nicky, Tracey, Laura, and Brian are in the caravan. They are talking about what Ziggy will do if Chanelle is evicted. Tracey says that he's started smoking recently so he can "get in with the smokers". Nicky says she feels sorry for Chanelle, and Brian agrees, saying that Chanelle has fallen for Ziggy and is in a "relationship". Laura says it's not a "relationship" and that you can't have a relationship in the Big Brother house. Nicky says "I've seen him checking me out in the mirror" and that "if you're in a relationship you don't do that". They then start talking about the twins and Laura, Tracey and Nicky tell Brian that the twins can't be as innocent as they come across and are putting on an act. "They are not who you think they are" says Tracey. Brian is concerned at what the three are saying as he likes the twins. Sam then enters the caravan and Tracey, Nicky and Laura leave. "Do you ever have a feeling that this is quite fake?" Brian asks Sam.

4:56pm - Gerry and Chanelle are in the toilet where Gerry is crying. He tells Chanelle that Laura is the worst opposition she could have in an eviction because "I know she's a favourite". He says he's upset because the backstabbing and "bitchy behaviour" has worked. "Do you believe in miracles?" asks Gerry. "No" says Chanelle.

5:41pm - Chanelle is in the Diary Room. She says she's scared she'll get booed if she is evicted but adds "if people want me to go then I'll go". She starts to cry. "Can't I keep in touch with them on the fish phone Big Brother? Can I use the fish phone? Because I'm going to miss them a lot". Big Brother asks why Chanelle is so sure it will be her leaving. "Oh don't be so stupid! of course it's me that's going tomorrow night you stupid!" cries Chanelle. She says that everyone will forget her and it will be like "Chanelle? Who's Chanelle?" Big Brother says "And who is Chanelle?". Chanelle screams "me!" and burst into tears.

6.18pm - Ziggy and Chanelle are in the caravan and Chanelle is talking about Ziggy smoking. Ziggy says that Chanelle doesn't "respect his wishes" before walking out. Liam is in the Diary Room talking about the paper "replica" of his dog that Laura has made him as a birthday present in case she gets evicted. Chanelle and Ziggy are in the bathroom arguing.
Ziggy calls Chanelle "*******ing nuts!" and repeats "It is a respect thing." Chanelle tells Ziggy to leave, as it is ruining her last day. They continue to argue and Chanelle tells Ziggy that he should sleep elsewhere tonight. "Why would you come into this house pretending to be someone you're not?" she says. Once Ziggy has left the bathroom she shouts that she thinks his breath smells like an ashtray. Ziggy hears and re-enters, saying "I knew there was a reason… I'm not going to say it" before walking out again.

Ziggy goes outside. Gerry consoles Chanelle on her bed. She tells Gerry that Ziggy said he knew there was a reason that she was nominated for eviction.Charley walks into the bedroom and over to Chanelle's bed, and tells her she doesn't like to see Chanelle upset. Gerry tells Charley that she is "full of bulls***" for coming over to Chanelle as she doesn't even like her. They begin to argue. Charley says Gerry should find his own friends, as everyone finds him boring. Gerry tells Charley that she's a snake for coming over to Chanelle, as Laura comes over to them to break the argument up, saying that it is her last night. Gerry says Charley is a liar and says her actions are "pure hypocrisy".

6.40pm - Charley is in the Diary Room, saying she thinks Gerry should keep out of arguments and that he "makes me feel sick". Gerry is telling Carole that "I'm not going to be scared of Charley any more - she's not going to bully me". Nicky is consoling Chanelle by telling her that the house is a pressured place to have a relationship. Laura says "It's not a relationship." At the smoking area Gerry tells Brian and Liam that he doesn't care if he's nominated next week.

7.33pm - Laura waxes a strip of Liam's leg. She then sits on his back and jiggles about.
In the caravan, Chanelle tells Ziggy that it shocked her to see him smoking. Ziggy says he came in as a non smoker, as he was trying to quit, and has not lied to her about anything. Chanelle acknowledges that she's been angry, but says Ziggy can't have everything his own way. Ziggy denies this and said he asked her to drop this conversation three days ago. Ziggy explains that what he was going to say in the bathroom was "I knew there was a reason… that I was doubting being with someone six years younger." Ziggy then asks "Are you happy with just finishing this now please?". Chanelle asks "This subject?". Ziggy pauses, "Yeah" he replies.

11.28pm - Carole and Ziggy are talking and Ziggy says it was a "stupid argument." In the bedroom Gerry and Chanelle are talking. Gerry thinks that he will be up for eviction next week alongside Charley. Chanelle is worried about the press coverage that her relationship with Ziggy will have created. Gerry likens them to pandas in a zoo with people observing them and asking "are the pandas having sex yet?". Chanelle says she feels like a panda. "I'm gonna be extinct tomorrow" she says.

LAURA IS EVICTED FROM THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE


Since Tuesday, the public have been voting to decide whether CHANELLE or LAURA should be the fourth housemate to be publicly evicted from the Big Brother house.

During tonight's 8.30pm show, DAVINA McCALL announced live to the house that the next person to be evicted would be Laura. She received 68% of the total votes cast.

On hearing the news, Chanelle looked stunned and remained silent. Tracey leant over and hugged Laura immediately. "It's ok," said Laura

A stunned Chanelle said, "It doesn't seem real" as Ziggy looked on.

Laura will be leaving the Big Brother house LIVE on Channel 4 tonight during the 10pm show, to be greeted by Davina and the crowd outside.

She's going to be let in and out for bblb throughout her stay to discuss the housemates and whether they've sussed her, so I'm guessing that her stay is one week long.

Friday - Day 38 - During Friday's eviction show Davina introduces us to new 'housemate' Pauline.

The housemates see Pauline on the plasma and are told she has been 'evicted' from Australia's Big Brother and she will be jetting over to meet them on Sunday. They assume that this means recently evicted Laura will be doing a swap and must be on her way to Big Brother Australia.

But of course this is not the case. Laura is going nowhere and Pauline is in fact British/Italian actress Thaila Zucchi.

The housemates are blissfully unaware that this marks the beginning of FAKE WEEK and that their task is to guess if Pauline is a fake or not

So far the housemates have fallen for Big Brother's dastardly plan hook line and sinker and are very excited about introducing their new Aussie housemate to the delights of caravanning in the Big Brother Garden





Throughout Pauline's stay she will be working undercover for Big Brother and stirring up the House with many a secret task. Keep coming back to the website to see if she gets rumbled!

Davina also revealed that this Friday will see a FAKE eviction taking place. The evicted housemate will leave the House, reveal all in their Davina interview and watch what their fellow housemates have said about them. And then... they will be sent back into the house. Cringe! Which housemate will you vote for to suffer this deliciously embarrassing eviction fate?

Saturday - Day 39 - The housemates speculate endlessly about their imminent new arrival. Meanwhile Pauline is of course on the plane, flying over from Australia ;-)
