View Full Version : Plastic surgery… Yey or ney !?
I realise that some plastic surgery is acceptable / necessary but what about the face sculpting, lip fillers , boob jobs etc
As I said I realise that some procedures ( certain breast ops ) are justified

It depends on who is having it
Some people who have addictive personalities shouldn’t have it
But people do seem to forget it’s used to reconstruct people faces after disease or injury

For me I understand it for anyone that's facing severe disfigurement.

tbh tbf Liam Payne does look a bit better in the after ... but a lot more generic and "bland" ... he was a bit more characterful before.

Each to their own. Its not something I would ever consider for aesthetic purposes but some people gain confidence from having work done.
Guess it’s worked for Carol V
She nabbed a wealthy guy 24 years younger … named Gareth Gates !!

None of my business. Do what you have to do.

It’s just something I never expected for some reason. ..
That said , I understand that some players will feel better wearing makeup whilst others don’t

when it's not reconstructive surgery, it's an indication of what people consider to be their inadequacies, that is thrust upon them by their own self doubt or a perception that young is beautiful by media/entertainment industry etc.
I would actually class wearing a wig/hair transplants/ dyeing hair in the same category along with anti wrinkle cream. It all feeds the same needs.

I’m not against plastic surgery especially if it’s reconstructive surgery. If someone is insecure about something on their body and want it changed then I wouldn’t judge them especially if it makes them happy.
I don’t really agree with people who have multiple procedures because I think that the person most likely has a deeper, psychological illness that should be looked at first.
Another issue tho is how easily accessible plastic surgery is. I could imagine back in the 80s/90s that cosmetic procedures would’ve cost a huge amount of money and only people who were extremely wealthy could afford it. Nowadays you can get plastic surgery on finance, so it’s open to a wider range of people and there are many who would use this quite carelessly.

If it’s needed then sure.. it’s these people in their 20’s getting fat lipped and botoxed that’s just ridiculous.. people’s self confidence these days is so low, it’s a shame really. Most girls with all the face jazz always seem to look way prettier without it all… and guys with lip fillers, forget it haha
