Somehow I doubt the good doctor would be that interested in a misinformed view from a former bookmaker
just saying :skull:

He's not interested in any view from anyone except whichever conspiracy trap he's found himself peddling would be my guess. Far more clicks & views catering to that demographic than in impartially presenting real data, which is what he started out doing, and what he IS qualified to do, because he's not a medical doctor, he's a PhD. So he's qualified to assess and appraise research and give his take on it. Some of those earlier videos were actually good - but I doubt his (current) target audience had any idea what they were listening to, so now he's just like "listen to this they're out to get you, the truth is out there guys."
Pretty sure you have no idea what I do these days LT :joker:. It doesn't involve doomscrolling on YouTube though.

"What is going on here?"
He is Not a Conservative MP
at this time, LT.
Andrew is a Nutter ANTI Vaccine MP
Lost his Whip Over It.
So Yes The Conservative told the Lib Dems
to also leave.
I watched Andrew Bridgen (INDEPENDENT MP)
in Parliament when he was on
I muted it after a while
as he is talking bollocks

The house has a duty to debate matters on our behalf, not leave.
Perhaps they did not want to debate the findings because their big pharma pay lords would be upset?

I agree with the first part but the part where its supposedly "strange goings on" is just untrue and conspiracy nonsense - 90% of the "debates" in the commons are people speaking to empty seats while the rest of them go out for lunch on expenses. It's pretty standard for there to be a handful of people there. Someone probably told them what he was about to start talking about and they've just said "nah I'm away for a pint".
Again I agree that it's shameful that our elected MPs aren't bothering their arse to do the job half the day, but pointing at it as a "strange occurrence" is just clickbait.

to have not one mp in the opposing benches for such an important subject? yet when they debated MPS pay rises the house was standing room only?
it would be strange if the normal occupancy level of the house is near empty. MP's only turn up for the big debates/votes

you dont know why he talked to them, you are just making **** up to fit the narrative
if the debate was deemed important, loads of mp's would have turned up

None of them are interested in anything g Covid related, no one really is, that's another reason Dr John has had to go down this conspiracy/paranoia route... He was getting millions of views when Covid was on everyone's mind, people started to lose interest, I'm guessing he was getting used to the extra income (which won't be small with millions of views) so he had to slide on over to this more extreme stuff that people would watch.
SHOULD people still be interested and listening, especially politicians? Probably... But we know they're not. No one thinks twice about going to a busy birthday party or a packed cinema any more. People got bored with it. They simply don't want to hear about it.

Just because you mistakenly poured scorn on Dr JOhn and have now been exposed, give the rest of the forum a break

Do you actually know anyone whose ears twitch at the mention of Covid these days? Colleagues get Covid and the reaction is "Aw put your feet up, get well soon."
I'm not even minimising Covid or the impact of lockdown etc. just pointing out the very obvious facts. It's been around for a long time, and no one is really interested in hearing about it any more. Are you telling me a bog standard YouTube video about Covid stats like Doc John used to make would still be getting millions of views? He'd be lucky to get 50,000.
But people LOVE a good unfounded conspiracy.
"Look! You can see a Tory reminding Labour to leave!!"
Its just so obviously paranoid nonsense - as has been pointed out, no one has any idea what he said to them, they're not actually warring factions and MPs from different parties talk to each other all the time. It's not weird. They left afterwards - that's not weird either. Maybe it's coincidence, maybe he said "he's going to do a rant about vaccines " and they were like "lol thanks for the tip, we're off to get a sandwich". I doubt he said "Do not forget, the illuminati overlords of the chamber have decreed that Labour MP's must not listen to this anti-vax bloke barfing out some Covid stuff we've all heard 10 times before".
Really utterly bizarre.
Know what it seems like to me? Doctor John was doing the stats and numbers and at some point has been like "OMFG - politicians lie and exaggerate figures for their own political ends???" and was shaken to his core. My only question would be, how did he reach his age without being aware of that already? So now he thinks he's uncovered some grand conspiracy when really he's just discovered... Politics.
But again, plenty of people willing to click his silly Redpill videos so why would he stop making them. I'd lean I to it too if I was him... His retirement is sorted.
I thought this was going to be about ghosts in your home or something

Yes that would be fun
Than a Conservative getting LibDems
to leave the Chamber
For a Ex Tory talking
