I used to search through the 50p bags on my lunch breaks for Beatrix Potter and 2012 Olympics 50p's because some of them go for £5 - £10 :joker:. Only ever found a few worth bothering with the hassle of selling. Plus you have to take the 50p hit of replacing it with a generic coin :oh:.
I once worked with a fella who thought he'd found a super-rare £2 worth over £500, he googled it and was getting all excited, but it turned out it wasn't the one he thought it was and it was only worth about £8 :joker:.
£6 profit is better than a poke in the eye with a stick, to be fair.
