I've done so twice and I now say never again.
First time was on a booze run. We stayed overnight in Belgium and back the next day. I can't remember half of it I was so blitzed. Apparently I was banned from ever setting foot in the hotel again.
Second time was when I turned 40 and my sister in law kept buying me doubles of peach schnapps which is a strong drink anyway. I was told I called the taxi driver a bastard and said all men were in fact.
Regrets, I have a few.

Only once. I was so sick afterwards. Never again.
I’ve only been tiddly once in my whole life .. at a party when someone introduced me to Southern Comfort .. I ended up cleaning some stranger’s kitchen well into the early hours .
I knew then that I couldn’t be trusted with alcohol !!

Never the whole night but I've definitely had too many nights with fragmented memories - not recalling conversations at all, knowing we were in a venue but no idea where it was and how we got there from the previous bar etc.
It's all very pointless really

Maybe it’s just because it was Southern Comfort. You should try some beer.

It is. Going overboard with the drink and ending up so drunk you really don’t know what you’re doing just to fit a certain social status-quo just isn’t worth it, IMO.

That’s sad and dangerous
There was a guy earlier, rode his bike to garage looked three parts cut
Got a bag of crisps and a large bottle of Smirnoff
What a sh1t life to lead.
No, I'm a good drunk who can handle my ale.
I did once fall asleep in the middle of a main road but I don't see that as blacking out, I see that as falling asleep.
i've never forgotten a conversation or event when drunk, and i've had a few nips in my time
