Should have taken Will with them, I’m sure there are some fantastic places in Germany for him to indulge in his favourite food extramarital activities

think Charles and Camilla will like meeting chancellor Scholz, he's a nice guy, good replacement to Merkel

hope Frauke Ludowig gets to interview them too for RTL Exclusiv :flutter: royals are quite popular in Germany, lots of royal news highlighted on their news shows anyway

I have no problem with your opinions on anything or anyone...I never said that. My point is that you are constantly calling Camilla Chlamydia. It may have been funny on one occassion but you constantly call her that. Referencing someones name to a STD because it sounds similar has now become tiresome and childish...but I totally respect the fact that you dont like her.

To go on a Meghan and Harry thread to deliberately call my opinions against them as tiresome just shows how you have completely missed the point.

They haven't done a bad job since they took the throne. They can only deal with what's put in front of them. I don't think it's particularly fair to single individuals out when they were all pretty much as bad as each other. None of them came out of it smelling of roses

Something like 50% of marriages end in divorce. I don't know what percentage of them are are messy but I'm guessing it's quite a few. The fact that they were royal is incidental.

Where did you get that from, the Crown series?

Diana was sleeping with the not long married Will Carling, while his wife Julia was at home none the wiser....which led to their divorce. She also had another affair with a married man, what about his wife?
I liked Diana a lot, but she was no saint, no matter how much you think she was.
And don't forget, the men were cheaters too, you seem to put the bulk of the blame on Camilla, the woman; it takes two to tango...

That despicable( married) woman was having an affair with CharlieBoy before he was married and carried on sleeping with him whilst he was courting a teenage Di … ( including reportedly the night before his marriage) .. the affair carried on after he married Di … but then you expect Di to carry on being a dutiful wife .. give me a break

And you know all this how? Watching the fictional Crown? It has been vehemently denied that they were having an affair after Charles and Diana became an item and didn’t resume it until 5 years after their marriage, when it became ‘irretrievably broken down’. Charles and Camilla stayed close, but not in the way you portray it. Diana herself never disputed that.

Camilla’s husband was carrying on with a lot of women and you expected her to continue to be the dutiful wife? Why was it fine for Diana but not Camilla?

Before she discovered she’d married a lying cheating scumbag … Di was completely innocent and totally naive … everything that happened after discovering what the gruesome twosome had been doing throughout her supposedly dreamlike marriage is completely understandable - effectively they ‘broke’ her and she was never the same person

If course we will never agree on this topic

::::

"Charles broke his shoulder at Cirencester and the shortwave radios were listening for when Diana was driving down from London to see him in hospital.

"With Camilla already there, she had to scarper out the back when Diana arrived. It was a situation that put a great deal of strain on a lot of people.

When Diana complained about the relationship and raised her suspicions … Charles' friends would say: 'Don't be such a silly girl, they're just friends’

We can agree on our fondness for Diana.I had a lot of sympathy for her and really liked her, in fact in those days I liked her better than I liked Charles or Camilla, but that isn’t going to make me blindly believe that Charles was carrying on an affair with Camilla for the whole of his courtship and marriage to Diana.

In all that I’ve read and heard over the years he wasn’t, five years passed before he started an affair with Camilla. Some say Diana started having affairs before Charles went back to Camilla. Also untrue.
It was just an unfortunate match between 2 people who both had troubled childhoods and were unsuited to each other and sought happiness elsewhere. Happens every day of the week.
