I didn't watch but there was a lot of coverage of this in our sports news and I'm happy for Chantelle Cameron. I read this was the first big fight in Ireland since a load of trouble at a fight in 2016 which is pretty mad

Really .. they were both unified , undefeated champions and on an equal footing but Taylor has more financial clout so she was able to bully through a rematch clause that only SHE can invoke ..

I’d say it was very similar to what Davis did .. remember if Taylor had won and taken all Cameron’s belts the poor girl wouldn’t get the chance to win her belts back .. whereas Taylor CAN invoke the rematch clause and gets a second chance to pinch Cameron’s belts

How is that fair ?

Did you get searched on entry Niamh?You have to go through one of those metal detecter things like they have at airport and the also had an x Ray machine thingy that you had to put bags or jackets etc through (eventhough they had sent out an email saying no bags of any size allowed in) so no I didn't get searched but had to go through that

Just a shame the same can’t be said for the Loma who was robbed in his fight with Haney ..

So lets talk about those couple of "dubious decisions", shall we? Have you watched those fights for yourself by the way before you decided she definitely lost those fights? because I have. So the first one was against Delfine Persoon, it was a close fight, Delfine is a brawler, totally different fighter to Katie, Katie won on points, it was a very close fight, some people thought Delfine should have won and some didn't, regardless what did Katie do when people said she should have lost? Did she shy away? Nope, she gave her the rematch and she beat her again (and Delfine herself in her post fight interview said she knew Katie had beaten her):shrug: the second fight that people say was a controversial win was against Amanda Serrano (again I don't know if you watched that fight but to say that was a robbery is just plain wrong, was it close? yes but Katie won more rounds) So did Katie run away from fighting Amanda again? Nope in fact she was supposed to have been Katies opponent instead of Chantelle in Dublin but she didn't take it.
