The DUP just cannot take that they are in decline in N Ireland, ( rightly so they appear to be in decline too in my opinion).

They didn't even win the most seats at the last assembly election.

There doesn't seem to be any real reasoning with Jeffrey Donaldson either.
So I agree this likely won't work.
The DUP just close their ears to reason and even to what the majority of voters in N Ireland want too.
