I'm not 100% up on the dangers of Vapes, but even I know that you don't sell them to 13 year olds lol.

It is Against the Law.

Too many younger kids can buy from Dodgy shops
that care about making money on them.

That honestly doesn't shock me tbh.

Dodgy businesses know that kids are rebellious, so it is an easy market for them.

Yes, but the PM
has ordered big Fines on the shops.

The kids'll have to start smoking cigarettes to ease them off vapes.

The "vape supplier" to the kids at my daughter's school is ... the dad of one of the girls in her year, selling them out the boot of his car :joker:.

It is a major issue though, apparently the toilets are always full of kids vaping. Worse than it was with cigarettes because it doesn't have an obvious smell that lingers in the room / on clothes so unless caught in the act, not much that can be done about it by teachers.

i blame Marcus Rashford. Now the kids are getting free meals, they can afford to buy vapes

I was about 8 or 9 when I bought my first pack of 10 Berkley. I wasn't much older when I bought my first bottle of cider. I'd say I was about 11 or 12.

Every time I drive to Ibrox I pass 40 yards from the field where we smoked them in - in the fog one winters day standing by an old stank

Which proves no matter what kids will always break the rules to get cigarettes and alcohol.

They should stop bringing out fruity attractive flavours and colours in vaping . That's what's drawing the kids in more.

kids do things they are not allowed to. They always have. Vaping is just the modern day version of it.

I have checked and you all seem more bothered about drag queens than this vape story which is actually dangerous and harmful. I wouldn’t expect anything less on this far right racist transphobic homophobic etc forum

Luke you pop in and out like you're doing the hokey cokey ..... moaning when there's anything remotely about trans or drag shows.

The funny thing is this very thread was about an entirely different topic ...but of course it still gets spun into that , this was about children vaping that's all.

Tbf he isn't wrong about Vapes being sold to children being a bad thing.

Mock that's precisely my point , i've been saying it's wrong for kids to be vaping and it shouldn't be sold to them. But this thread got turned into another row about something else.

Sadly fighting seems to be the way of the Internet these days unfortunately.

But as posts have been deleted on this thread looking at LukeB's post, I am wondering if there was a post trivializing the underage vaping which has pissed him off?

To be fair, I think there is a slight difference here. Yes there were a few "early tearaways" but in my day you didn't really see kids properly smoking/drinking until about 15. I mean I can't lie... I was smoking and drinking jim beam like a cowboy at 16/17.

Vapes basically taste like sweets and there are (according to my daughter) VAST numbers starting at 11 or 12.

There were a couple of kids huddled in doorways at my school smoking at 12, sure, but it genuinely does seem like vaping is far more common with young teens than smoking ever was, for obvious reasons.

Also apparently the nicotine intake from Vapes is generally far higher than for smokers. No one really has any idea what effect that will have on kids.

I doubt it, there's a bit of a baseless trend of people pretending that "no one cares about anything unless it involves trans people and then everyone suddenly cares omg".

It probably seems that way because the only time they use the forum at all is to argue about trans issues. Maybe. Just a thought.

They haven’t been checked out by the authorities..

Bingo. I’m past the point of caring about what Gen.-Z teenagers are doing.

And most of today’s teenagers have no interest in smoking or even drinking that much. Vapes and certain energy drinks are the new fad for them. That’s just the way it is.
