Spider-Man 2 is still the best superhero movie ever made.
Spider-Man 2 is still the best superhero movie ever made.Doesn't Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy count in Superhero movies? Because that series must be the best?
The only Spider-man movie I've seen is the animation one "into the Spider-verse" that was pretty good. The only Superman ans Incredible Hulk movies I've seen are the ones from the 1970s

Yup.
Sure do.
Yup.
Sure do.So you're telling me that the spider man movies are better than the Dark Knight trilogy? Preposterous.
If I was to try the Spider-Man movie's out, which are the better Spider-Man movies? The Sam Raimi trilogy with Toby Maguire as Spider-Man? Or the more recent ones?

Dark Knight is certainly the better film, but Super-Man 2 is the better superhero film.
If that makes sense :joker:

Definitely the Raimi ones. Brilliant.
The MCU ones are good but they're just MCU movies, albiet with a touch more personality than most of the others. But they don't have a whole lot of re-watchability. Watch each one once, done and dusted.

Tbf it's different opinions anyway.
But I do see what you mean, and it's probably a fair assessment.

I liked those films, better than the Dark Knight films. :hee: I think Spider-man is a more relatable superhero than Batman.

Tbf whilst I do prefer Batman, Spider-Man is also a great Superhero imo.
A few months ago I started watching Spider-Man's 1990's Cartoon Series on Disney+, and I had a blast with it, it was way better than I was expecting.

Now you and Oliver are making me want to watch the Spiderman trilogy. I suppose I should.

The third Toby Spider-man film is pretty terrible though :umm2:. The first 2 are classics.
Though if you ARE going to watch the new/MCU based Spider-man films, it's worth noting that the 3rd one (No Way Home) is a bit pointless if you haven't watched the Toby Maguire (original trilogy) and Andrew Garfield ("Amazing Spider-man") films.
I loved No Way Home but my daughter (who hasn't seen the older films) had absolutely no idea what was going on :joker:.

i think the spiderman films are soon to be officially moving to Disney
since they are soon to be removed from Netflix
could this be progress in the deal between Disney and Sony for the streaming rights?

Could all be part of the "special deal" Sony and Disney have when it comes to the Spider-man IP. No Way Home and all of the Multiverse stuff means that, retroactively, all of the Sony Spider-man movies are effectively part of the MCU.
