Past the late 20's I've seen very, very little evidence that this is true. Plenty of 30 year olds with more common sense than plenty of 50 year olds.

Oh yes i was bought up with a ' common sense' family and the amount of people with no common sense at all really baffles me ? I think how can you be so stupid and they really think why are you questioning me ? its because i think you are brain dead and then i can't be bothered with you. Common sense is a very good quality in a person.

some of the greatest advances in human history were as a direct result of people not having common sense, so while common sense has it's place, we would be a lot poorer if everyone had it :laugh:
