Knives are included as "arms" under the second amendment but every state has different rules. No one's worried about knives where semi-automatic firearms are available.

As bad as Knife crime is in the UK (I'm not going to deny that) if you're unfortunate to be a victim of a Knife attack you have a better chance of survival than if you get shot with a Gun.

Plus you can try to get the Knife off of the attacker, where as who the **** is going to try and take a Gun off of the attacker?

Preferably neither scenario happens, but we all know which one is more dangerous.
