I think most people would accept that some people wear beards as a part of their faith, even if they don't understand the idea of faith. It's not the same as growing a beard because it's trendy. I don't want to see police or soldiers with a hairy face.

in line with the scottish governments wish for people to easily self id, i expect a lot of police officers to identify as muslim etc from this point forward
