Would you take a large amount of money to keep silent?
And if yes what is acceptable in terms of keeping hush

Honest answer’s please.

Great question.

Sorry I don't have an all encompassing answer. It would depend entirely on what the scenario was.

Depends what the secret is but I’d be more inclined to say yes to it. Everyone could do with a bit more money at the moment.

Depends what it is and how it would affect others. I'd base the decision on the morality of what would happen if I kept quiet - not on "the law".

If there was a chance that keeping quiet could get me in legal trouble myself then nah. Not worth it. Unless it was covering for my wife or kids.

… and if the money was life changing

Although there are certain things that should never be covered up .. ie like on the J SaVile case .. loads of high profile celebs knew what he was doing and kept quiet simply to protect their careers in TV ( main culprits imho were EsRan & J.S.P !!)

NDA's don't tend to be that specific so at the point you agree a cash sum it may not be obvious you are covering up a crime

Depends what kind of crime, surely.

I would take a large amount of money and keep silent.

The acceptable terms are, I'm nicking the money, and keeping quiet about what I've done to everyone.

If it was someone close to me they wouldn't need to give me money. If it was someone I'm not close to, no amount of money would make.me.
