Why does Sophie need a motorcade? She’s one of the good ones but come on

Poor woman, it would be a miracle if she recovered from that

I'm not sure saying he smashed into her tells the full story. He collided with her. Presumably she was in the road at the time. Terrible accident though, hope she recovers.

A lady, from that area,
said it was at speed the old lady was hit in the road
Hard Road to cross if you are a slow walker

Yes,
it appears she was trying to cross the road
with no idea of this fast moving Royal Motorcade bike.

i very much doubt she will survive

that is a crossing so either the lady did not press the button to stop the traffic or the outrider ran a red light?

I don’t think Motorcades stop at traffic lights…

Really goes to show just how much royalty cares about its ‘subjects’ though doesn’t it? They can see an old woman trying to cross the street and they don’t stop?

Like the rider headed for the woman with complete unconcern! Idiotic thing to say. The motorcade was approaching with lights flashing. The woman was in the road. Had she been on the pavement when the bike hit her I might believe they callously headed straight for her. I wonder how the rider is.... Must be shocking to have someone step in front of you when your whole motorcade is lit up like a Christmas tree.

Does everyone automatically step into the road when the Green man flashes???...because I always check to see if the traffic has stopped or approaching cars are slowing down. I never take it for granted.

people do unfathomable things sometimes, they just don't think for a second and if you are unlucky, you end up in trouble

Motorcades don't stop for anything, it's a security prerequisite

Liam thinks he saw her, but ploughed on regardless.

To suggest that Sophie could remote control the motorcade is perhaps the most stupid thing ive ever seen written on this site

That Rider
only was worried about protecting the Royals.
He did not know she was trying to cross that Massive Dangerous
Junction

yes, it was inevitable really. A young person would be extremely lucky to survive a heavy motor bike crashing into them let alone an elderly person
