Loved him, then hated him, always respected him as a fighter. Anyway, a new 4 part Netflix series dropped today. Gonna give this a go later or tomorrow.

Same. He did pay for my sons (and all the other under 18 Irish fighters) trip to compete in the Worlds in Bulgaria a couple of years ago

I'll probably watch

Yeah, he's a tricky one for me still. He's done some crappy things, but we all have. And just seeing the trailer for this, it's looks like it's going to be an excellent mini series. I actually can't wait to watch it now.

And he loves fighting, he loves fighters, and of course a very proud Irishman. I remember you saying he paid for your son's. That's a really decent thing of him to do.

He'll be at the Katie Taylor fight in Dublin this Saturday so I'll have to keep a look out for him there. He's a big fan of hers too

I will have to look out for her fight, i've been meaning to get back into boxing.

Ok Niamh, i've just watched the first episode. It is gripping, it's emotional, it shows Conor like i've never seen him before. The behind the scenes stuff, the love and bond with his son. Honestly, there is a scene when Conor is sat on the dressing room floor after the Khabib loss, and his little son runs up to him for a cuddle, it had me teary eyed. And you can just feel how broken he is as a man after the fight. It follows his community service too which has some really sweet moments.

First episode 10/10. So well put together.

(the next 3 episodes will probably be crap now  nah, they wont, first episode was absolutely brilliant)

Is this new ??

I saw a documentary on him last year and after disliking him intensely I grew to kinda liking him

Could this be the one I saw or is it really new ?

Hitting an old man in a pub because he wouldn’t have a drink with him

Sleazy arrogant prick that got his arse handed to him.

I know, but we all make mistakes. He seems a good guy deep down. Drink makes people idiotic.
