Going to Southend for the day.
I just love the seaside.
Do you like the beach or prefer the countryside/mountain?
I used to go to the mountain when I was little, I have so many happy memories there.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230524/dd2659198b27e379c2d0e922b1c93625.jpg

Have a great day Vanessa, unfortunately I'm stuck at work today.
I live by the beach so I prefer to go somewhere else for a change. I actually prefer swimming in lakes over the sea though. I like a good forrest too

I have a lake not far from me, with a beach. Sometimes I go there as well.
It's beautiful!

Oh lovely, I prefer non salty water and no Jellyfish
We are thankfully surrounded by gorgeous countryside on all sides but only the crashing waves of the seaside , the sounds of seagulls and gently bobbling boats in a harbour really warm my heart ..
I presume it’s just memories of my perfect childhood holidays .. though I am obsessed water .. wether it be streams / rivers / the sea , ponds / lakes .. I keep tropical fish but nothing compares to snorkelling over thousands of beautiful fish and octopus in Greece ..

With the lakes and streams around us we get the same local critters , birdlife , fish types etc
The thing about the seaside , beaches , harbours for me is the thought that in any given day / moment you cos see just about anything .. fish , eels , octopus, crabs .. maybe a seal or a school of dolphins even a Shag …. Calm down lads it’s a Bird .
