Red tbh.

I miss too many people who're sadly no longer here so to spend even just an hour with them again would be worth more than any money to me.

Blue for more or less the same reason. You could make a lot more than 10 million if you could go back to the (for me) early 90's with insider knowledge of what's going to happen (Intel, Microsoft, Apple, Google, Amazon, Tesla, etc.) ... heck, you could be a multi-multi-millionaire if you could go back to 2009 with knowledge of Crypto. Buy a few hundred £ worth of Bitcoin in the first few months of its existence and sell it in 2021 = instant £100 million+

BUT biology is so full of infinite possibility that even if you engineered it so that you'd have kids with the same partner - they wouldn't be the same kids.

So I think this is a no-brainer for most people with kids... if you choose red, you're writing them out of existence :umm2:.

Maybe some people have crap kids I guess.

the butterfly effect is real. Change 1 little thing, and existence could change. Compound that with every person on the planet having the opportunity make their choices again and there is no guarantee they will go the same way again. So even knowing what happened first time round may do you no good whatsoever

Absolutely nothing’s showing in your O.P. but whichever gets me rich fast. I’m fed up of being skint after essentials all the time. I’m running out of excuses as-to why I’m not going on holiday this year or doing this thing or the other with money.

Ideally it would be red but my financial situation at the moment has gotten to the point where I’m just cleaning out debts, paying direct debits, saving and paying for the most urgent essentials and ending up with 21 pence to last me until the next payday. Offline no-one knows that I have no money at the moment (not really) so I keep having to flake out of things that I’m otherwise willing/needing to do so it doesn’t make sense to re-start my life at the moment when I could make an improved one for myself with more cash flow.

Exactly. I shake my head at the news every day when I hear all these stories of people who were once well-paid pharmaceutical managers reduced to eating cornflakes twice a day and not being able to pay for maintenance of their cars (if they drive). Going back in time would be amazing but realistically the average person can’t afford to at the moment.

Yeah but I’ve come this far in life and at the moment (inasmuch as we all have all sorts of problems going on at any one time) I’d say that I had no problems if my bread-stack was up. My disposable bank-account figure is appalling and it’s driving me flaming crazy. Had I had to choose either pill in 2018 I’d have chosen to go back to being a 6-year-old with all the knowledge I have now but at this particular point I’d just have to go with the 10 million at this particular point, because I’m pretty fed up. I’d just choose the immediate financial fix out of desperation.

I think the blue pill figure is too high to make the red all that tempting for anyone tbh... realistically you can build any life you want (within reason, not Elon Musk's life) with £10 million cold hard cash.

It’s just a feeling I get. He might be down with the funk and relatively pre. mid.-life crisis but I honestly thought he’d be in his early 40s more-so than early 30s. I can’t imagine him being born in 1990.

Red pill all day long.

Simply keep a note of massive lottery winning numbers and stuff like that for your latter life. Or to be more precise the date when you would have had the chance of ten million by taking the other pill.

Keep yourself fit and healthy, and keep enough money rolling in with all the knowledge of big outside winners like Leicester city etc.

Then just keep taking that pill when the day comes along agian on the daye you were offered it...like a groundhog day of success and riches if you chose the red.

I'd make a guess at around 35.

And what do you mean by “ish” when you said you’d sort of made it out of uni. by the time you became a parent?

I was in my final year when my (now) wife was pregnant for the first time, I decided I'd need to get a job instead and left uni (bad decision) and we upped and moved to the town her parents lived in (even worse decision). So I basically did almost my full 4 years at Uni, but didn't actually graduate.

The original plan was to go back and finish up Uni relatively quickly once we were settled. In the end I only got round to finishing my undergrad when my eldest was 9 :joker:. Life starts flying past very quickly it turns out.
