so glad we don't have a mortgage anymore, i was in a taxi yesterday and the drivers fix was coming to an end, currently fixed at 2.2% and jumping to 7% if he stays with the same lender :sad:

Aye, it’s terrible.
We are mortgage free and ok but our daughter is looking to buy.
We have told her to hang on until next year if she can, house prices are coming down and hopefully the bank rate will eventually.

The whole world and not just the UK, seem to be moving in unison, but then you have to look at CBDC and the significance of that is, its truly global.
As long as we have a government that is controlled through the central bank and the WEF which we do, we are going to have a banking crisis and with that comes the motivation to move towards a cashless society.

America is presently sitting on the pinnacle of crashing. Bankers are taking bets on who will fall off the cliff first; America or Germany. The sudden interest rise in the UK is happening across Europe and its telling of a recession like we've never seen in our lifetimes.

Aye, its really not a sellers market atm but give it six months and your daughter will likely be paying a lot less for the home she buys.

We were looking to buy this time last year :omgno: but we don't want to move towns (and it is very small) and nothing suitable came up in the period we were actively looking. Have to say that feels lucky at this point. Personally I have my fingers and toes crossed that the arse falls out the market and then we can snap something up on the cheap :umm2:

We just sold in London and moved to Norfolk, so I feel like maybe we got out just in time :wavey:
