[A teenage boy who was riding an electric bike
has died after he was followed by police
and then collided with a parked ambulance in Salford.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said traffic officers
had followed the 15-year-old until their police
vehicle's path was blocked by bollards.

The boy then rode on and collided with a
stationary ambulance with crew inside,
North West Ambulance said.

The Independent Office for
Police Conduct (IOPC) is investigating.

At about 14:00 BST, the boy was
followed by police officers along
Fitzwarren Street and onto
Lower Seedley Road,
where bollards blocked the
police vehicle's way.]

Arrest the parents.
It should be criminal to raise such children that then end up putting the public and themselves in danger.

There's a lot of bad feeling in the area now towards the Police because of this.

Any excuse to blame the police....

So if the police gave chase..and he chose to give them a chase and turn into a road they couldnt get down to avoid them...what was he hiding?

Parents should be ashamed.
Why bring life into this world if youre just going to drag it up.

I don't disagree with what youre saying I was merely saying how the atmosphere in the area is

Whatever he had done - no punishment would have been worse than death

Sure E-Bike on Full Speed
he went into the Ambulance
on his OWN.

I am sure
the Police will tell us why they were chasing him

His Parents should not have bought him a E Bike

He could have killed a little kid with his recklessness, I have little sympathy.

i think we need to be realistic, it's not possible to chase an ebike, it isn't fast enough. It would be similar to Harry and Megs famous car chase

No one parent can control their teenager's/s' actions all the time, otherwise teenagers would be a lot less ... teenager-y than they've been known to. It can't always fall down to the poor parents.

Parents irresponsible for their kids until they're 18. Who else should be responsible for them?
