I was shocked to see Pointless is now primetime.
It was a silly little show before the 6 oclock news its not saturday night viewing.
And then ITV is playing night at the musuem and the Chase.
Like what.

Classic TV sadly is a dead medium due to the talent moving over to the Streamers mostly.
Don't get me wrong you'll find the odd gem every so often (like The Traitors UK) but the first 5 channels in the UK in particular are mostly dire imo.

You are an optimist - it looks worse than the movie which was absolute krap ( that’s being generous)

Sundays are even worse. On Saturday nights I enjoy the 1% club, hosted by Lee Mack.

Agreed. It’s a shame they don’t do Sunday screenings of Corrie (and I suppose Emmerdale) anymore. I can’t take stock in shows like How Clean is Your House, The Simpsons pre.-season 20, My Wife and Kids and Embarrassing Bodies (basically everything memorable from the 2000s) providing good entertainment throughout the week anymore so it’s gotten to the point where EastEnders, Corrie, Emmerdale and Waterloo Road are pretty-much the only shows I watch consistently. Mondays generally suck but (especially in the absence of the Sunday omnibus) things like EastEnders (which has improved massively over the past year) come back with a punch. Come Sunday I just don’t know what to do with myself as far as TV goes.

And Waterloo Road (and I’ve got to say, season 12 was the best since season 4) is literally released in episodes of only seven at a time. And most people who watch it now tend to binge-watch the whole thing the day it’s released on BBC iPlayer so those seven episodes fizzle out even quicker.

The weekend is especially dire without Football and NCIS: LA.
