Madeleine McCann key witness speaks for first time: Former friend says
Christian Brueckner broke into apartment to steal, then snatched
young girl…and reveals suspect said to him 'She didn't scream'

Helge Busching explained how he learned of Brueckner's crimes in home videos
He explained how Brueckner accidentally let slip that Madeleine 'didn't scream'
Helge claimed he informed Scotland Yard in 2008 but they ignored his call
Could have happened to any family

Helge then left Portugal, but told German outlet Bild how he crossed paths
with Brueckner, who has since been convicted for sex crimes, again in 2008
at a music festival in Spain.

'He asked me, ''don't you go to Portugal anymore and do business there?''

'I said, ''no, since the girl disappeared there, there have been too many
police checks for me and I don't need that at all.''

'[The topic of Madeleine's disappearance] came up and I said: ''Anyway, I
don't understand how the little one could have disappeared without a trace.''

'Christian had drunk two or three beers, and he said: ''She didn't scream.''

Madeleine was staying with her family at a small secure holiday apartment in
Praia da Luz, Portugal when she was abducted in May 2007.

the case is too cold now for anything meaningful to come from it

That’s not true
Plenty of decade old cases get solved

I love the way you always change slight details in your articles to fit your narrative - its so cute:

Madeleine was staying with her family at a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal when she disappeared in May 2007.

"Could have happened to any family" oh he added that himself? I thought it was a weird claim for this person to make

Yeah - the actual bullet points from the article:
* Helge Busching explained how he learned of Brueckner's crimes in home videos
* He revealed Brueckner told him that Madeleine 'didn't scream' amid kidnapping
* Helge claimed he informed Scotland Yard in 2008 but they ignored his call

I suppose it could have happened to any family that left their 3 very young children alone in an unlocked apartment but that doesn't have the same absolution of blame that LT is seeking for the McCanns.

The shade thrown on a finely curated thread is outrageous

I mean one could even argue, that it's more likely to happen to a family who leaves their children alone in an unlocked apartment :idc:

The parents may get to clear their names and thousands will have to admit they were terribly wrong

High profile cases tend to get solved

I watched a drama recently based on a true story
30 years later unfortunately after the killer has died it was proven who killed them
