Sue Gray "Broke the Civil Service Code"
Was just on SkyNewsHD

[Sue Gray broke the Civil Service code by
discussing a job with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer,
a Cabinet Office investigation has concluded.
In a written ministerial statement,
Cabinet Office minister Jeremy Quinn
said the "undeclared contact" between her
and Sir Keir constituted a breach.
"The rules and guidance that govern the conduct
of civil servants are clear and transparent,"
he added. "It is deeply unfortunate that events
have transpired in this way."]

It may be wiser for her not to take the job.
However she was cleared to last week by Parliament's advisory body last week.
Surely they knew of any other issue.
It's laughable however that the Cons and their ever defending hard-line supporters are in such a hissy fit over this, especially after all the underhand dealings of the Con party while in governnent this last 13+ years.
Sheer hypocrisy.

Fingers crossed Kier loses his seat at the next election and Sue Gray will be out of a job too.
one way or another the knives will be out for her. I think it stinks but it's just so hypocritical of the tories to complain about it

Absolutely this.
Although I'm not really sure why it's felt she's needed by Labour.
You are completely right however in what you say in your post.

She's a fairly old woman, I'd say about 75 years old by the look of her.
She must have made a lot of money in her back-slapping, grovelling career, so why does she need a need new job?
Greed, I suspect. They're all greedy for money, those types. Sickening.

She's only 66.
On the official info.available.
Still cannot see why she's that valuable to Labour or any other Party however myself.

At 66 she should be retired.
May be she is Keir's Edwina Curry
