I posted on here before that I was sceptical that battery production will scale up to current car production because of the rare-earth metals used.

If it doesn't cars will be more costly and car ownership will become more the preserve of the wealthy.

they dont have the infrastructure to maintain and service electric cars either. The heat pumps is another one that is going to fail miserably.

I’m wondering where all the energy is gonna come from to charge up all the billions of electric car batteries each evening ??

i was including that under maintenance. They are hurriedly trying to force through regulation to allow local windfarms and pylons to transport the electricity, it's going to be a nightmare for many

In my city there are constantly road works going on. I don't drive but from viewing, I get the feeling they're doing it to pi55 drivers off.

The main road coming in and out of Hull and through the centre of the city. They seem to have been works going on there constantly for the past 5 years.

There's something going on were they're trying to put drivers off from driving.

Don't know what it's like in other cities?
