Last month, the TV presenter and columnist used his self-titled GB News programme to admit he had made "errors of judgement" in the past but branded the "criminal allegations" as "simply untrue".

Huw Edwards is obviously a creep, but he broke no laws. Just a quick skim over the accusations against Wooton, lead to issues of extortion, bribery, and possibly some revenge porn in there for good measure, aided by a few other legal traps I'm not familiar with.

Of course, Dan is still presumed innocent, and he's fortunate that he has the backing and protection of the most powerful man in British life - the Australian, Rupert Murdoch, so it's a really interesting one, but the charges/claims made against wooton are far more serious than huw edwards.
