What's the point?

The "Space Race" has been run, and it's not like physically going there will achieve anything, or glean any knowledge which can't be acquired remotely.

tell this logic to the starving indians who cant afford to go to the supermarket and eat. im sure this will reassure them that there government is managing the country's funds well.

Because your cupboards empty, and you need to refill them - and yourself!

Whereas there's nothing to be achieved from going to the Moon.

Don't forget this stupid government is still sending millions of pounds in 'aid' to India.

Also, they sent £30m to China last year to help with Chinese kids and their football.:nono:

How nice would it be to have spent all those millions on British homeless. No such luck, because this country crawls up other countries' @rses.

This country has always grovelled. They help others instead of helping British needy people.

There's a guy who sleeps in a doorway in our town. He's 63 years old but looks about 90. He's asked for help but gets none.

I was thinking he'd have a better chance if he got down the coast and pretended to get off one of those migrant boats.

Then he'd get a five star hotel overnight, free dental and health care immediately and good grub and spending money.
