Not a chance in hell this will be as successful(if thats the correct word) as the house a Ukrainian was. Peoples reluctance to house anyone that's not the same colour as them will involuntarily stop them applying.

Of course they will claim they did their bit for the ukranians and it's now other peoples turn to stand up and be counted, rather than admit their skin colour bias.

Slight tangent… my wife works with a lovely kindhearted woman in her 40’s .. happily married to an equally lovely guy , two grown up kids … anyways they took in an Afghan family into their home about 5 months ago …

The ‘adopted family’ are fine but her husband walked out after about 6 weeks .. their divorce is well under way ..

She hasn’t shared any details which is completely understandable..
