According to The Sun the reboot will see ex housemates living with new housemates with Nick, Chantelle, Nadia, Makosi and Kinga named as possible returnees.
It also said that they don't want a house full of beautiful people as they want it to be a complete opposite to Love Island and return to its glory days

Ugh I hope not.
ITVX commented on SuperTVs tweet about it saying don’t believe everything you read in the papers :fc:

ITV might make Ch5 look competent if all of these rumours end up being true.

It needs to be a clean start, channel 5 tried this and it did nothing for the show.

Exactly. . I don’t want any of the oldies back
Just don’t put someone awful in who is just unpleasant to get airtime

I don’t hate the idea but it’s too soon.
Although if they want to do it, bring someone like Bonnie Holt or Beinazir who were in for 5 seconds donkeys years ago. I always think of Bonnies missed potential and thought a while back it would be good to give less remembered housemates another chance

I 100% think that if Bonnie was given a chance she would have been a legendary housemate (for the right or wrong reasons). Potential was massive and she was robbed. They should have cancelled the eviction anyway considering how three housemates went within the first week or so (George/Dawn/Shahbaz).
I've always thought a series where they just bring back 1st/2nd evictees as the whole cast would be interesting though. Like Big Brother: Second Chance or something. :joker:

If this is true then it only further highlights why it shouldn't be returning. This constant "need" and "DESPERATION" to "relive" old "glories" with the same "show"/"character" is guaranteed to land it in the monotonously disinteresting basket. Note as the world gets lazier&woker, TV entertainment is getting harder and harder to find. The odd gem is buried under a sea of grade-A garbage or inferior remakes of past successes.

Hopefully this report is wrong Pro Sniper.
I agree with you that TV entertainment is low on quality at the moment though.

It worked quite well with BB Australia, but even that was after a few seasons.

Seems unlikely - they've been quite clear on this being "normal" Big Brother, not CBB/"ultimate" etc. and I think well known ex-housemates definitely fall closer to that category.

Also, for the most part, the new viewers of this reboot wouldn’t know who these ex-housemates are, aside from us who are old enough to have been following the entire run of the show.

I wouldn’t be against them doing something like that at some point, but definitely not for the first new series

Well the Tweet (which seems to have been deleted) just said don't believe everything you read.
However "a source close to production has since told bbspy that an All Stars twist is not being planned".
That seems to be more conclusive from a usually reliable source (which The Sun is not).
