I dunno, i just really like this short. You fight, you try. But you allow demons and bs to carry you forward. Just in reflective thought i guess. It's amazing how as you become older, the more of a loner you become.

Boo Hoo Hoo Poor Sad Wee Men.

I'll just say this Swan. It's a choice. All of it is a choice. Feeling sorry for yourself is the absolute worst path you can go down... straight into the hands of the weepy Mens Rights Activists and incels.

Choose to be happy, choose to be genuine, choose to be good to people ... and you won't be lonely.

It's literally that simple.

Tbh, this thread was cringe, i was just dunk and feeling crappy at the time. But you're trying to lead it somewhere i never intended it go with your comments.

Men can feel lonely, upset, in need. What does that have to do with being some sort of "weepy" Men's rights activist? Or worst still, an Incel?

You are literally holding back men opening up about their problems with those kinda comments. I, and im sure many other men don't want special treatment. Doesn't change the fact suicide is a lot higher with men. (im not saying im anywhere near that, but in general).

You're basically saying "you're a man, get over it". Dangerous stance that SB.

I've watched YouTube videos from Incels, they're a disturbing community when it comes to their views on women.

I don't see anyone on here as being an Incel, or at least the stereotypical version of the Misogynistic ones.

You're just a feminist cheerleader. And part of the problem why men in this country can no longer defend their homeland and instead sit back like a door mat while it gets invaded, while somehow believing you're being virtuous.

And that's the thing Mock. The average man isn't any of the above. Incel has nothing to do with being a struggling man anyway. Incel's are women haters. That doesn't apply to normal people.

Also, SB's whole "awwww booo who man problems waaah" bollocks. No, don't let that stop you opening up. Life can be hard for both men and women.

It's never a competition. Both men and women hurt. Being there for each other works, opposed to SB's "get over it you weak man"

It all boils down to respect!

If it were that simple, nobody would have issues at all, you can choose to be good to be people and be taken advantage of, its not all hearts and rainbows out there

There's a thin and important line between opening up about feelings with a focus on genuine self reflection -- how did I get here, what behaviours got me here, how can I make my life better -- and MRA style victimhood, i.e. "the world done me wrong, other people done me wrong, I'm doing my best in the world but it's not doing what it's supposed to for me". I personally would counter that one of the reasons for suicidality is the hopelessness that comes with bunkering down and believing those things.

It's not "you're a man, get over it" - it's "you're a person IN the world like anyone else, the world isn't something that's being done to you".

Being good to people does not mean pandering to people, Alf. You can still think people are incorrect.

And that's the thing Mock. The average man isn't any of the above. Incel has nothing to do with being a struggling man anyway. Incel's are women haters. That doesn't apply to normal people.

The path to redpill/incel land goes straight via "I'm a sad lonely man because the world hasn't been what it should have been for me". The only next step required is "...well I'm done being sad, now I'm angry". And far too many people go that way because, again, they have no ability to self-reflect and see that their life circumstances weren't imposed on them by anyone else.

The video clip is 100% a redpill-style video. "What terrible things must the terrible world and terrible other people have done TO that chap to get him there, despite how hard he tried". Nahhh.

If you want to see people meaningfully opening up the first step is getting them to be open, thorough and honest whilst looking straight dead-eye into a mirror. Not anywhere else. If you can get someone to say "OK yes I understand now where I've gone wrong" then yeah you can help that person to start down a better road. If you allow this "I fought and battled as hard as I could but the world just wouldn't let up" BS then like I said... next step is straight to the Andrew Tate videos where he's getting disempowered redpillers hard by telling them how they can be big tough real men.

You're implying that I'm saying men shouldn't open up. I'm saying the exact opposite. I'm saying that people should be straight up open and vulnerable with their flaws and limitations with a view to improving those areas. Saying "I'm feeling bad no matter how hard I try, feel bad for my beat up little self" is not that. It's an attempt to garner sympathy and acceptance whilst making no effort to enact ANY meaningful change. "This guy has been an arsehole all of his life... but we should be nice to him despite him still being exactly the same, because now he feels sad about all of it and might off himself if we don't make the right noises".

Bad. Bad for everyone involved.

I wondered how long it'd take for TS to tell us all he was the only one in the thread who was right and everyone else is wrong. And use a thousand words to do it.

I was the first to reply but people asked me to clarify, I thought you'd be used to reading long passages of text for your "law degree" :joker:.

I also thought I was on ignore ;)
