The faded broadcaster, who hosts a weekly show for BBC Radio Wales and has
appeared on Have I Got News For You, regularly tweets her 842,000 followers
with her views.

Last month she shared:

"The Tory Gov has now lost around half of those who voted for them in 2019. Why?

"Cos they're a lying bunch of greedy, corrupt, destructive, hateful, divisive, gaslighting crooks.

"No need for a focus group Sunak... it'll just tell you the same."

:umm2:

MP Craig Mackinlay called for the BBC to investigate as he told the
MailOnline: "She has certainly been on a strange journey because you don't
find a more rabid anti-Conservative inhabiting Twitter these days.

"... I know she's been having this spat with Johnny Mercer and his wife for
some time, but she's in receipt of the BBC coin."

He continued: "She has flagrantly crossed any boundary of impartiality,
fundamental to the BBC's charter, and is indulging in very anti-Conservative
rhetoric.

I haven't any time for Vordernan myself however just around a decade ago she was a fierce and unrelenting cheerleader for the Cons.

Thankfully she's seen a bit of the light and like probably many more, she has seen the hard-line heartlessness and incompetence of this rotten governnent and wants them OUT.
That I'm pleased to see.

Impartiality of the BBC, what a huge joke that one is, really.

When they stop employing hard-line Cons on their major political programming, like Kuenssberg on her own show on Sundays.
Coburn on the Daily Politics live weekly.
Plus Bruce on Question Time.

Then the BBC may have a chance to seem more possibly impartial.

When i was looking at that Byline Times twitter handle, she has tweeted her support for the news outlet. I think she's a bit of a political flip flopper. I think she's just trying to pander to what she thinks is popular in order to keep herself in the public eye. I never see her presenting anything nowadays.

The rules are that the shows and content on the BBC channels and platforms are (supposed to be) politically balanced, not that everyone who is paid by the BBC has to make themselves devoid of political inclinations and personal leanings at all times. What a silly idea. Didn't we cover all of this with Linekar?

Just for reference: Hospital staff are supposed to be politically impartial and can get in trouble for pushing political views/wearing political badges or slogans/expressing strong political views to patients while at work. They can be a hammer-and-sickle wielding outright communist on Twitter if they want.

She's gone a bit tinfoil hat, like a left-wing Alf. It's quite funny tbh.

I honestly think she's just trying to be on the side that is more likely to keep her relevant. One week she's waiving pride flags, the next she's in corporate boxes having a jolly up with the tories.
