I remember last season i watched this, all eyes on Haaland, he didn't perform, so i took him out of my fantasy team, and don't think i put him back in until GM5, cost me a lot of points. I wont be letting any performances swerve my thinking this time round.

Arteta booked
Havretz looks completely lost out there atm
It’s early and he’s playing CF a position he doesn’t like .. he’s won a few headers though
Timber look’s quality as does Kovicic

No idea why he's playing CF, i know Jesus is out, but he was awful at CF for Chelsea last season.
After another ten minutes I’d swap out Gabriel and play Kiwior - plus Trossard for Martinelli

Two stupid bookings for Havertz and Partey
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Havertz has never been a clinical finisher. Last season taught us he is completely wasted as a CF.
I think Ederson could lose no1 spot in goal for City this season, Pep was experimenting towards the end of last season leaving him out. Im not surprised he was left out today

He was supposedly a great finisher in Germany

I know, but 2 seasons in the PL now, and it clearly shows he's out of his depth as a main striker. He needs to play behind a CF and be given more freedom

Really ?
His distribution is exceptional

Not saying he's a bad keeper, just don't think Pep fancies him anymore.

Dunno, Pep likes to chop and change a lot. It makes it so difficult to pick City players in the Fantasy football i know that much.

he better be a part of the first team, idk instead of whom, but 70 million is meant for someone in the first team or else :fist:
2 good saves from Ortega now, and 2 missed by Havertz.

Havertz missed a sitter
I like Havertz as person, but after watching nearly every Chelsea game he played in last season, i can comfortably say he's not gonna be missed. I do wish him the best of luck though, even though he went to our rivals.
Who are Pep’s managerial protégés?
Arteta , Kompany and Enzo Maresca ??

I've swapped him and Ben White about 9 times this week when pissing around with my fantasy team. Might end up just having both.

The Timber effect probably if Arsenal wins this, will be called in the dutch tabloid media's :fan:
since ajax players always get overhyped here

Havertz getting slagged off in here and the tv studio yet nobody mentions Rice who’s yet to do anything in an Arsenal shirt ( including friendlies)

still not worth 40 million :joker:
idk how Ajax does that all the time, getting more money than they should on their players
Antony = 100 million (70 million too many)
Timber is more worth 18 million maybe

Give me Emma Hayes on punditry over Alex Scott and most of the others any day. The panel on the USA game earlier was fine. Laura Woods, Fran Kirby and Enola Aluko were fine. All gorgeous too.

Still going to captain him away at Burnley??

Trossard has been very good in pre-season
oh crap a penalty shoot out  i thought they just shared it
Arsenal had the best chances for sure. I mean you can only give Trossard credit for having a crack, that was a wicked deflection=.

Sharing a trophy at this level of football is a complete joke. Im glad they don't do that nonsense.
Hate Arsenal winning anything, but City winning everything is boring, so im fine with the result. Lovely last pen too.

Such a positive psychological win
city always start the season slow, it's the relentless push on after christmas that does the other teams in

Who is Arteta gonna favour in the starting line up next week, Martenelli or Trossard?!

I bet when Arteta is brushing his teeth tonight he is like YAAAAAS fist pumping in the mirror 😁
rotation is the key, keep folks involved and playing semi regularly and then it keeps the squad on its toes
City, Arsenal, Newcastle and Chelsea, a four title fight, oh how brilliant that would be!
Think Man Utd will be around the top 4, not sure about Liverpool.
Chelsea will probably end up finishing below Luton Town though
i think man u will have a good season, and i can't call a winner although city are the default

Yeah and they looked good. Jackson, Maatsen, and Nkunku looked really good. And we scored a decent amount of goals.

Newcastle were w/o Saint Max for the last half of the season, they did fine without him. If they can add a little more depth, they'll be right up there imo. However, with CL, they need a few more signings, granted.
i would put aston villa as a top 4 outside chance this season. I think they will give liverpool/spurs/newcastle a good run
Yeah i think Villa will be a force this season.

Yeah i think Villa will be a force this season.
then they are doing better than in my current career mode of them :hehe:
and i have De Ketelaere, Hojlund, Kangin Lee, Romagnoli, Rekik, Anthony Gordon as my signings for them
in my real manager career mode, i play as Marius Sumudica
