Tragic, but a 12 year old boy out at night at 9.50pm, on such a dangerous road?

I often see groups of very young looking kids around at night - 9.50 isn't that late. If he was with a group then I'd put it down to young boys being reckless and naive about the dangers.

If he was slone, then very sadly even at 12 years old you can't rule out the possibility of suicide.

Absolutely awful and tragic either way.

Nights are drawing in now. I noticed last night, I had to put the light on at 9.00pm.

There is a Problem
No one should try to cross that busy Motorway Junction
it was getting Dark,
Too dangerous, to try to get
across a busy motorway - at any time

Of Course, after hitting the lad he
never stopped 'hit and run' case

Fled the scene of the accident which means, most likely, they were either speeding or had something in their system (or both).

Obviously the boy shouldn't have been crossing a motorway on foot anyway, and was in extreme eisk either way (and it may have happened regardless).

Driver will still face legal consequences if they were speeding to any significant degree though. And will do for leaving the scene, regardless.

He was walking along the motorway with a 36 year old man, the man has been arrested.
Maybe the driver clipped him side on and didn’t realise he had hit someone.
